Chapter 10

*Jade's POV*

I opened my tear stained eyes and saw my hospital room. Andrea was nowhere to be seen.

"Andrea?.." I called out. No answer.

I sat up to get a better look around. I hear my doorknob turn. Scared I lay back down. I look up to see my dad?!

"D-daddy?" I say happily

"Jade!" he says running up to me and giving me a hug.

"I thought you wer- the doctors said-," I was cut off by him saying,"it's alright now I'm here now."

I smiled hugging him tightly across. Tears of joy begin to fall. He let go of me looking down.

"Somthing wrong daddy?" I asked

"Just one thing I need I to do to you sweetie..." he said.

He looks up at me with a evil grin. His face is now bruised and beaten. Along with blood all over his body. His eyes were a blood red. He lifted his hand revealing a sharp knife.

"Da-dad??" I say sitting up and stuttering. My face went pale. I scooted as far back on the bed as I could.

"It will all be over soon Jade." he said coming closer.

"No-o daddy pleas-please!" I cried.

He forcefully grabbed my head and pulled it towards him. He held the knife against my neck putting force onto it to make a small cut. Blood begin to rush. He then pushed the knife into my neck slicing it all the way through.

I tried screaming but everything was becoming darker and blurry by the second. My eyes closed to see nothing but the dark.

A few seconds later I was sitting up in the bed. Andrea at my side looking worried. My breathing was uneven. I was sweating.

"An-Andrea?" I asked her worried

"Oh my god Jade are you ok? I heard you screaming and I freaked out." she said getting up and sitting back down next to be on the hospital bed. I hugged her tightly while my eyes began to water.

"What happened?" she asked patting my back.

I tried to calm down a bit before I said,"Nigh- Nightmare.."

"It will all be ok Jade." She cooed then continued,"Do you want to tell me what happened?

I thought about for a second. I looked up at her comforting eyes. I rubbed my eye and looked downward shaking my head no.

"That's ok." she said.

I heard to knob of my door twist open and another nurse walked in.

"Oh hi. Im here to check out how you are doing." she said.

She checked my heart beat and blood pressure. Then when she was all done she stood up.

"Well your vitals are good but you need to eat. So I'll be bring you breakfast in a bit." she said then walked out the room leaving.

I layed back down on the bed and starred at the tv. I wasn't watching it. I just couldn't help but get flashbacks of my nightmare. Over and over again.

Until Andrea said," Hey. Listen I'm here for you. So if you need something or are just worried about something you can tell me about it. Ok?"

"Ok.." I said

I looked at the door. I can still vividly remember my dad's face. I blinked my eyes to make it go away. But I couldn't help it and think that this is all my fault....I'm sorry daddy.....So sorry..
