Year 2062, New York City.

Vampires had taken over the world; conquering, taking, destroying. Then, humans lived in poverty, barely scrapping by on what little we made from working all day, everyday.

Everyone made money differently then, some worked hard in selling food in the market or some giving themselves up to vampires, letting them feast on your blood for a higher pay; a Blood Thrall.

My sister was a Blood Thrall. She was twenty, two years older than me, when she became one. Her name was Lizzie. She was beautiful and she knew it, and she also knew vampires wouldn't resist to a beautiful young girl offering their blood. So, she was taken by a male vampire, a high ranking one, and had to work as his slave and as his meal whenever he felt the slightest bit hungry.

What sickened me most was that she enjoyed being that vampire's toy. She enjoyed being used for all of his needs, and then being thrown aside until he needed more blood.

Lizzie died. That vampire came home one day, was angry as hell, and killed her. Killed her out of pure fury. And she did no wrong to him.

Next to Lizzie, were my parents. Both slaughtered by vampires. They were taken by vampires, killed, and were never to be seen by anyone again. All of their deaths left me with a burning hatred for the bloodsuckers. A very strong hatred.
