Teldryn
I laughed as Jupiter pulled me around Whiterun, in quite a hurry. She had blindfolded me and told me that she had planned a surprise for me.

"You're going to run me straight into a wall, my dragon!" She giggled and pulled me closer, latching her elbow with mine.

"There, now we'll run into a wall together." I smiled, this girl is weird, and I'm crazy in love with her. It has been two years since the ordeal with Miraak, but this is the first time we've ever came to Whiterun since then. We mostly went to the small towns around our house to get supplies.

"What is the surprise?" I pinched her arm playfully as we walked.

"You'll see." She hummed thoughtfully while she led me up some stairs. "Stay here, I'll be right back." I smirked as I listened to her footsteps retreat. What is she planning?

I stood there for a few minutes before I heard a door open and a deep laughing voice coming towards me.

"What are you doing you weird little pup?" The voice laughed and I heard Jupiter giggle as the came closer. Now, he was standing in front of me.

"You can remove the blindfold now." I slowly pulled the cloth up and looked at the elder man in front of me do the same. Wait... He seems familiar.

His eyes widened as he looked at Jupiter, then back at me. A small smile warming his face.

   "Telly? Is that really you?"

"Kodlak?" Now it was my turn to gape as I looked at the man that had been my teacher, he's changed so much over the years, but none of those wrinkles could make him look any less strong. I was only taller than him by a few inches, it felt weird knowing that this man had once towered over me in my youth. He pulled me in for a hug and rubbed my back.

"It's good to see that your safe, son. It's been, what, six years now?"

"Feels like it has been more than that, but yeah. Six years." I looked over at Jupiter, I didn't know that she knew Kodlak.

"She's that new recruit, heard my name and practically broke my door down." Kodlak smiled at Jupiter and she blushed. I laughed and he patted my shoulder. "How about a drink at The Bannered Mare, for old times sake." I nodded and wrapped my arm around Jupiter's shoulders.

"You've been wanting to say that for a while now, haven't you Kodlak?" He nodded.

   "You have no idea."

Kodlak and I drank and joked for hours, talking about the Companions and Solstheim and, of course, Jupiter.

He leaned in his chair and smiled at me, but slowly the smile dropped and his eyes held a great sadness in them.

"Why did you leave, Teldryn?" I sucked in a sharp breath, a tender subject.

"I was looking for my brother, I had heard of him residing in Windhelm from a man that had hired my services, but he wasn't there. I had been forced into the gray quarter as soon as I walked through the gate. I couldn't have come back, even if I had forced myself through the guards. They would've chased me, and they would've killed me." I looked up to meet his eyes and he nodded in understanding.

"So you left, for Solstheim?" Now it was my turn to nod. "Did they treat you right?"

"Yes, and I discovered something." He scooted his chair forward, "it wasn't my brother that I was looking for," I glanced at Jupiter, "I was searching for something to bring me home, too late I realized that Skyrim truly is my home now."

"Teldryn -" Jupiter moved to grab my arm, just then the door slammed open. Catching the attention of all the customers in the tavern.

"Ready the fires, we have come with fresh meats!" A few men barged in holding bags full of meat, people in the tavern cheered as the sacks were set down on the counter. "For the right price, of course." A tall dunmer walked in with a wide grin on his face.

My heart jumped and I turned my face away from the noise, facing Kodlak. His eyebrows furrowed with confusion as he looked at me.

"It's Endryn" I swallowed hard as he glanced. Between me and my brother singing with his buddies behind me.

"He doesn't look much older than you." Jupiter looked back at me.

"Twins, he's older by a few minutes. He never let me forget it too." I scoffed and looked up at her, full of worry. After all these years spent searching for him? I really don't want to see him. She noted my look and smiled slightly and rubbing my arm.

"How about we go hunting, Kodlak?" She nodded at him and he pressed his lips into a thin line before smiling.

"Bet a can hit a bigger elk than you, Teldryn." My head shot up and I stated at him, a grin slowly widening on my face.

"How much you willing to bet, old man?" He narrowed his eyes at me, challenging me, daring me to taunt him more.

"A hundred septims and a nice rabbit stew for the winner."

"I accept your challenge." Jupiter smirked and smacked a coin purse on the table.

"Your challenge is pitiful, I could bring down a dragon faster than you two could blink." We smirked at her, it is so on. "We all have one hour to bring down our kill. May the best hunter hit their mark." She raised her cup.

"May the best hunter hit their mark." We slammed the cups together and chugged the last of our ale before standing. I looked at Endryn, who was flirting with a bar maid, one more time before heading to the door with Jupiter and Kodlak.

We were so close to the door, I could feel the tension build pressure inside me with every step. I was so close but then? It snapped.

"You there, dark elf, what do you think you're doing in Whiterun." His voice growled behind me and my body completely tensed. I don't want to talk to him, I miss my helmet so much right now, why didn't I bring it with me? I groaned softly as I moved to turn around.

"That's none of your business, boy." Kodlak growled behind me and gripped my shoulder, pulling me from the tavern. My lungs started to burn and I took a deep breath once we got outside. My body trembling as Kodlak rubbed my back.

"Are you okay, love?" Jupiter cupped her hands on my cheeks and looked up at me, worried. I leaned forward and rested my forehead on hers.

"Yeah, I'm alright." I pulled her into a hug and looked at Kodlak as the doors burst open again.

"Hey! What the fuck is your problem." Endryn was fuming and he descended the stairs. I growled and turned to face him. His steps pounded against the stone as he moved to stand in front of me. He may be older, but I'm definitely not going to take his shit.

"Listen here you little roach, I don't have time for you. I have a bet to win and magic strong enough to put Alduin to shame. Now beat it." I growled in his face. Jupiter came to stand between us and put her hands on my chest. Kodlak grabbed my shoulder gently and they began to lead me away again.

"Wow little brother, I haven't seen you in years and that's how you react?" He called with a smirk.

"I have a family now, and you are not part of it. You're not my brother, you're just another elf, and a huge waste of my time." And with that, we left the city. "Remember, one hour." I  called and we a spilt up as the sun went down.

Long story short. Kodlak and I ended up giving Jupiter a hundred gold septims, which she used to buy fancy spices to make us all a venison dinner, along with two other men that had showed up looking for Kodlak, Vilkas and Farkas.
