Tiras POV
I sighed. Waking up was hard. My body ached all over like my body had been exercising with my dream. That, or I slept funny. What ever it was, it hurt like crazy. And I mean, like crazy.
And I still had to text Cole. I pulled out my phone.
T: Hey!
C: Hey
T: What up?
C: The sky.
T: Duh.
C: Sup for u?
T: I'm going on a 'field trip' tomorrow. :(
C: Field trip?
T: Ya. We're getting school supplies. :(
C: :P Haha 4 u.
T: |growl|
C: |Scared| (not)
T: How bout u?
C: Huh?
T: Whatcha doin today?
C: eating fro-yo for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
T: With out me?!
C: Duh! U'd hog all the fro-yo if you were here.
T: grrr.
C: Ma b when u get back, u can have 24 hours of fro-yo.
T: Planning on it.
C: Good.
T: Gtg, ttyl?
C: yep.
I did it! I talked (texted) Cole! I got up, feeling better. He didn't even ask about... ya know.... the wizady part. So I didn't have to lie!
I felt so excited.
And tomorrow, was the day we went to Diagon Alley.
I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. I'm not sure I wanted to see Harry, Ron, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley again. Sure Ginny, and Mrs. Weasley were nice- but I don't think they'd to like me any more.
I flushed that thought out of my head. Getting up, I yawned, and walked down to the kitchen. Time to make breakfast. And maybe Astoria can teach me about that thing called flavor.
I walked down the silent halls, imagining what it'd be like with more people here. The white trimming and green walls looked sad, and lonely without pictures, and they seemed very bare.
I sped up, and arrived at the kitchen in two minutes, instead of five. These halls were very long.
I took in the big white cabinets with a sigh. Everything here was so plain. I pulled out a frying pan, and turned another hair elastic. This time, I got a package of sausages in return. Another two hair elastics became pancake batter, and bacon. I used my last hair elastic to pull my hair out of my face. Note to self: By more hair elastics.
I heard quiet footsteps coming down the hall, and moments later, Astoria walked into the kitchen, and silently grabbed out another pan.. She took over the pancakes while I got the sausages and bacon ready.
"Did you sleep well?" She asked me, once everything was cooking.
"Sure," I said. "Weird dreams, but I feel pretty good."
She nodded. "All of us get weird dreams."
I smiled sadly. "So that isn't just a phase that I'll grow out of?" I asked.
