I felt myself gaping. "A god? Part God?!" I screeched.
That was awesome.
Mystery boy was trying to hide a smile behind his hand, yet his laughter was still audible. Meaning that it was very loud.
Somehow my reaction was very funny, for even Chiron was laughing.
"What's so funny?" I asked them.
Mystery boy shook his head, and Chiron just smiled sadly.
"This is the best response we've had in years. Most people just go into disbelief." Mystery boy said.
"Most people?" I asked. "Is there a lot of us, demi gods I mean?"
"There are quite a few demigods. And demi, god, is one word."
I nodded, storing the (hopefully) useful information in the back of my mind. "Okay."
"Really?" Mystery boy asked. "You except it that easily?"
"Yeah. My life is crazy enough to completely believe it."
"Seriously? How can a mortal's life be that crazy? What's the craziest thing you can do? Meet One Direction?"
I laughed. "What's a mortal?"
Chiron gave me a weird look, then, he covered Mystery boys ears. Even as Mystery boy struggled to remove his hands, Chiron didn't seem to notice. In the same tone he'd use as Mr. Brunner when he was teaching, he said, "A muggle. Non-human, non-wizard." Then he removed his hands.
Mystery boy glared at him, and started to fix his messy hair. "What was that for?" He barked.
"I have secrets sworn on the River Styx. I can not share."
Mystery boy frowned. "Again? Do we have to pry it out of you guys again?"
Chiron frowned, sadly. "Yes, I do."
Mystery boy spun in a circle, face palming and groaning. "I almost hate you Chiron."
"I know," was Mystery boys only answer, for then, Chiron started walking back inside. I went, and looked over the porch railing, grinning.
Blondie came over and stood next to me, his back on the fencing.
"How's your life crazy enough for this to be easy?"
"How's it not?" I asked, my smile wide.
A smile tugged on the corner of his mouth. "Secrets from you too, huh?"
"From the way Chiron spoke, we seem to share the same secrets. That and the fact, I can't even share my secrets with the people in my dreams." I said.
He looked nervously at me. "Dreams? What kind of dreams?"
"Night time dreams."
He smirked. "No duh." But then his face became serious. "But truthfully, what are they about?"
"Preparing me for phase two." I said.
"Phase two?" He asked.
"Yes. Phase two of my life.. I think that's now," I said wistfully.
"What was Phase One?"
"A secret."
He groaned again. "I officially hate secrets."
"Yet you still keep one from me." I said.
"Oh really? What is that, cupcake?"
"Your name."
