To the dried eyes and trying to sleep in vain
Take me to the time when you were but a hurricane.

Take me to the days of unbearable agony
When the only place you knew wasn't ever to be seen
When the chaos inside made your strongest weakness
Take me there to the pain none must witness

Take me to the horrors, the ghosts of your past
The ones that might haunt you till you breathe your last.
