I grabbed both Nariko and Sakura hands dragging them away from Naruto.
"Don't tell Naruto about this mark especially you Nariko, promise me that," I said looking at Sakura and drifts my eyes at Nariko for a response.
Nariko hesitated at first then answered.
"Okay, I won't tell." Nariko sighed
We walk back to Naruto looking at us curiously Nariko only can avoid eye contact with him.
"Okay let's go" we walk off to a wide pleasant space
"Let's take a break," I said looking at the team Sakura, Nariko and Naruto are exhausted we couldn't go anywhere in these conditions and I couldn't blame them we been out here for four days.
Sakura and Nariko set up campfire as Naruto and I find something to eat.
Naruto took off his clothes leaving just his boxers with his shadow clones as I wait on shore. Suddenly a fish jumps up out of the water I used a kunai stabbing 3 fishes into a tree behind it.
"Okay, Naruto go down there and get more," I said
"What?" Naruto yelled
"I could eat 3 fishes myself," I said thinking about Nariko
"Sasuke come here we finish setting up the campfire I need one of your fireballs to ignite it," Sakura said
"I have to do everything around here" I mumbled to myself walking away
"You do, huh? What have I've been doing!" Naruto yelled
We all sat down waiting for the fish to grill. I look at our scroll we have the earth scroll, all we need is a heaven scroll.
"The Chunin exams started 4 days ago lots of people may already pass," Sakura said thinking about how to obtain our next scroll
"Your right about that," I said looking away
"I'm going to get water," Nariko said getting up, walking away with a bamboo container, I greatly stand up walking with Nariko making everyone look on us and Sakura pouted.
What's wrong with her? Nariko is different somehow.
-Hinata-
We finally made it to the tower with my teammates, Kiba and Shino.
"Is he still shaking?" Shino look at Akamaru
"Poor thing, are you okay Akumaru?" I rubbed Akumaru's cheek
"I don't blame him it's because of what he saw" Kiba lie his hand on Akumaru's head
~Flashback~
We were traveling through the forest with Kiba leading.
"If we go at this speed we'll be the first to the tower in no time."
I just hope that Naruto and Nariko are okay.
Suddenly Kiba and Shino stopped I as well.
"Alright, Hinata I want you to use your Byakugan and scan on ahead." Kiba looks at me
"Okay. Byakugan." I use my eyes to see a red-haired boy with a gourd on his back and his teammates a boy with purple war paint and a girl with a giant fan.
"Well, what you see?" Kiba said looking at me
"Yes I see three people from the sand village, judging from their headband's"
"Alright let's check it out" Kiba commanded running to a bush near the sand ninjas, we stayed there when Akumaru suddenly started to quiver badly.
"What's wrong with Akumaru?" I asked, softly
"I don't know Akumaru has the ability to sense how strong a person's chakra is. But man, I've never seen him this scared by it before." Kiba placed his hand against Akumaru head, supporting him.
They all look like bad people to me.
"Kankuro, Temari leave these guys to me," Gaara said, coldly
"Gaara would it make sense if we follow them I mean it'll be a waste of time when they have the same scroll as us." The man with purple war paint said
"I don't care they looked at me the wrong way, so they're gonna die," Gaara said
Gaara suddenly summons sand from his gourd from his back.
"You asked for it." Man 1 threw many shurikens from his umbrella type weapon. Gaara's sand rushes in and saved him from being injured not even one gets through.
"Gaara carries sand in that gourd, it comes to Gaara's defense and he uses his chakra to harden it. So all attacks are doomed to fail. It's a jutsu only Gaara can do." Kankuro explained
"Instead of making it rain shurikens, how about we make it rain blood instead." Gaara disabled the guy from his weapon umbrella
Man 1 charged in, but Gaara's sand gropes on to his leg covering him up against his whole body in the sand.
"Sand coffin" Gaara made handsigns lifting his enemy up and crushing him in midair, blood rained down.
I, Kiba and Shino stared stunned.
"Here t-take the scroll, please don't kill us" Man 2 and 3 pleased for life
Gaara did the same thing with his enemies.
"Sand coffin" Gaara crushes up his enemies to dust
"Come on let's get out of here before he does the same to us," Kiba whispered
"What luck it's a heaven scroll, let's go to the tower," Kankuro said picking up the scroll
"No it's still not enough for me" Gaara glared at our direction
"What are you talking about Gaara. We came for the scroll, that's it. Listen to your big brother" Kankuro hold Gaara up by the collar
"Too bad I don't think of you that way."
"Gaara please you don't wanna do this take advise from your big sister, okay," Temari said in remorse
I closed my eyes, barely noticeable.
Gaara gets back his cork and plugged it back in his gourd.
"Let's go" Gaara walked off, filling up everyone's relief
~Flashback ends~
We suddenly heard people walking around.
"Nobody's here, we're the first ones" A familiar voice rings through the hallway
The sand siblings looked at him as they walked by. We all avoid eye contact, mostly from Gaara.
I can only hope Naruto and Nariko will do great.
