The Circle of Life: Rory & Logan Journey

The Beginning

The smell of hospital always made me feeling not comfortable to hang out around. I cannot imagine that I are going to giving birth to a baby in the hospital. No the hell way! I'm going to stay at home as I planning to giving birth to a baby at home. As Logan sat beside me and studying me as I kept my brain spinning as he cuts in,

"What's up in your mind, Ace?"

I started to realize that we are sitting in the waiting room in midwife's office. As I replied: "Huh. Sort of thinking about the birth location. I'm gonna giving birth to our baby at home."

Logan smile and holds my hand as he told me: "That's okay. We're gonna having our first baby at home. I'm open to those all options but if you have some complications regarding to birth, I would rather to have you to giving birth to our baby at the hospital to have the safety birth without any health risk."

Shit it got real. It's just the beginning. We're only ten weeks pregnant with our first child due around early July. "Yes but I'm hoping that I'll have less complicated pregnancy." As we heard our midwife called our names in,

"Lorelai Gilmore-Hayden, please come in to the office as Midwife Shenae will see you shortly."

I extended my hand to Logan's as we got into the office. As I filled out the form as Logan read when I wrote all my information down.

"Lorelai Gilmore-Hayden... Huh?"

I laughed at his perplexed as I simply responded: "I changed my last name Gilmore to Gilmore-Hayden seven years ago due to inheritance. My grandma Francine Hayden wanted me to go by both last names in case if I have any interest or had to join Hayden Law Firm. I admitted that I sort of loves to goes by both last names. If you set up your Facebook account and added me as your Facebook friend several years ago, you will already know about it right now."

Logan rest his back on the chair as he begun saying: "Wow. I kinda loving to see you to go as full name Lorelai Gilmore-Hayden along with both last names. It kinda sounds more powerful. I'm glad that Hayden Law Firm have a slot that open up for you in case if you decided to change your path."

We heard our midwife, Shenae came in as she saying: "You must be Lorelai?"

I nod as I introduced Logan as our baby's daddy, "And this is Logan, he is the father of our baby. He wanted to join our first baby appointment with you."

Shenae chuckles as she getting her computer run to record some information on.

Half hour later, Shenae explained of what's to expect when you are expecting a baby and timeline of all three trimesters. As she saying: "Want to meet your baby via sonogram screen for the first time?"

I started to feeling butterflies in my stomach quickly as I squeaked Logan's hand as I begun saying: "Yes please. We would love to."

When I dressed up and laying on the bed and waiting for the sonogram screen to show our baby in my oven.

The screen begun to showing our baby bean in my oven as I looked up to Logan's gaze. He's crying. It melted my heart as I smile softly and continuing studying our baby in my oven.

It's only ten weeks out of forty weeks of pregnancy. Shenae gave us around twelve copies of our baby's first sonogram pictures. As she informed us that our baby due will be around July 4th. It's just beginning of the chapter.

I looked up to Logan and smile. Logan squealed my hand as he begun saying: "I cannot wait to find out the gender of our baby, so we can start spoil her/him all things from the nursery to clothes to toys."

I smile as I adored that Logan already being wonderful father to the baby in the womb.
