Flew back to Hartford with Logan and of course baby Huntzberger in the oven! As we're pretty excited to go to midwifery office for ultrasound to find out the gender of our Baby Huntzberger at 16 weeks! I'm officially four months pregnant. As we heading to the office, we discussed about should we know about the gender before everyone else as we agreed that we would keep it as a secret without any pressure due to leaving for Europe and when we're returning to the US, there will be a gender reveal party by that time. There will be only Finn Johnson, Colin McCrae and Robert Harris will know about the baby's gender after we finish with our ultrasound appointment today.
An hour later,
Midwife Shenae asked us: "Are you guys ready to find out the gender of your precious baby?"
We both looked at each other and saying in unison: "Yes please."
Midwife Shenae took a deep breath before she says: "It's a... GIRL!"
Unexpectedly I cried so hard as Logan is too. As I took a deep breath, "GIRL? Huh... It's hard to believe that we're gonna to have a baby GIRL! She's our joy! It's what we're gonna call her middle name Joy for sure!"
Logan smiled really big as he chimes in: "I'm so happy to have a daughter to being overprotective. Joy fits her very well. Thanks for the appointment as we would like to have around 20 printed out."
Midwife Shenae smiled softly: "Sure I will do. Congratulations on baby girl."
Several hours later,
It's official that name tradition of Lorelai is over but it might resume when our future daughter(S) want to name one of their daughter Lorelai. We came to this point realize that we would prefer to have name with a strong meaningful instead name traditional. Logan suggested it would be a great way to start on serious name searching with our pals. I agreed because I'm sure that would be helpful to have other opinion. So we're discussing about first names for baby girl along Finn, Colin and Robert. But until I realized that might not a good idea because they're keeping on suggesting those crazy and boyish names for our baby girl but we're finally struck with top five names from Old English with a special meaning;
Jacqueline- Feminine of Jacques
Audrey- Noble & strength
Agnes- Pure, or holy from word hagnos
Beatrix- Voyager/blessed
Mercy- Compassionate for forgivenessAs we enjoyed the boys' company until they left for work. Logan bends over to talk with baby girl in my belly, as he speaks: "Baby girl, you're so loved by those guys. They're going to be your coolest uncle. You're very lucky to have them to spoil you. The speaking of you as niece, your daddy and mommy are getting a new niece anytime soon. Her due is in a week from today. You're gonna have a cousin close in age. You have bring us so much Joy as we're gonna to name your middle name Joy. I'm pretty sure that your new cousin, Haven Grace is also being us so much Grace into the family."
As I wiped my tears off from my cheeks as I'm in love with Logan for the way he is. He is an amazing father already.
I whispered: "I love you, Logan Elias Huntzberger."
He looked up and smiled: "I love you, Lorelai Leigh Gilmore-Hayden too."
As our phones ranged at same time. We both are perplexed as we checked our phones.
We got text from Josh Ward (Honor Huntzberger-Ward's husband): Haven Grace Ward is here! Born on January 14th at 2:56pm, weight 7lbs 6oz, 21 inches long. She's a beauty like her momma and big sister Lottie! Momma and the baby is doing very well. Lottie and Jasper Ward are proudly to have Haven join the Ward siblings clan.
We jumped so excitement as I told him: "Timing's perfect! You're in town as you could go to meet your new niece, Haven!"
He looks so puzzled as he replied: "You come with me. You're with me now, so we're gonna to meet her together."
I smiled and nodded. As we heading to Hartford hospital to meet six hours old, Haven Grace Ward!
As soon we arrived the hospital, we met Shira and Mitchum in the lobby.
Logan did everything to makes sure that they didn't cause any chaos that will stress me out and put our baby girl in danger.
Mitchum smiled softly as he says: "I'm glad to see you sooner than later. I'm glad that we're going to have another grand baby on the way. You're gonna be awesome mother. No doubts."
I was pretty speechless as I replied: "Thanks. It meant a lot to us."
As we arrived Honor's room. I gave Honor congratulations on birth presents as Honor insists that Logan and I are gonna to holding baby Haven first instead other visitors in the room. We grateful accepting the offer as they handed Haven Grace into my arms as I shed a few tears as I found myself enjoying holding the baby for awhile as I looked up to see Logan poured all of his attention towards to his newest niece, Haven Grace.
"That's her. I'm grateful that she's someone else who will carrying my son's baby. Yup it's their first child." I heard someone talking about us as I turned with Haven Grace in my arms with Logan by my side as I saw Mitchum, Logan's father talking to a tall elder man.
As Logan leans toward to whispered me: "That's good sign. I think that he will be more happier if we're in relationship."
I smiled as I leans in: "I will down for that."
As I could see Logan worried about what he told me recently as I'm letting him know that he isn't regretting for what he told me recently as soon his face turned into happy.
