One Month Later

Corona: And all of a sudden, a war broke out in the heavens. The angels battled the devil, who took the form of a deadly dragon.

The high priestess sat on a chair in a small opening located in the monastery gardens, reading a story to a small group of orphans. One of the children raised his hand to ask a question.

Child: What about the savior of remnant and the man of flame?

Corona: I haven't gotten to that part yet, child. So please, be patient.

The sun haired woman smiled as the young child nodded and patiently waited along with the rest of the children. She returned her gaze to the book and continued to read the story to the children. Unbeknownst to them, the story was based off of the events that had occured a month ago.

Meanwhile

You and Ruby stood in the open field of concrete where Beacon Academy once stood. The both of you were looking at a large memorial stone with many names engraved all around the stone. They were the names of students who had fallen during the second attack on Beacon.

Ruby: I didn't think many people had died that day...

(Y/N): Same... Then again, I was out for most of it. My team were lucky enough to find me... Snow had last an ear, Joanna suffered a punctured lung while Ranger had multiple stab wounds. It took us a while to recover but by then our ship crashed....

As you spoke, you removed the glove off of your hand to reveal a cybernetic hand. The whole month was spent in Atlas to acquire new parts to replace the ones that were destroyed. Luckily, you also gained new augments from within since a few of your organs were permanently damaged. They even replaced your damaged eye much to your convenience.

(Y/N): I'm just glad its finally over...

You retrieved your dagger and forcefully stabbed it in the bottom of the memorial stone, although you made sure that you didn't hit any names. The dagger remained there as you intended before releasing it from your grasp.

(Y/N): I'm done with all of this fighting... There's been too many sacrifices...

Ruby: I know what you mean but... Someone still needs to take care of the grimm.

You smiled as you held out your handgun, which she hesitantly took since it was everything to you.

(Y/N): Then I'll leave you to it. At least the public had a change of heart after hearing about the last incident.

Ruby was silent since she knew that everyone began to grow saddened at the loss of their protectors.

Ruby: What will you do now?

You reached inside your pocket to bring fourth the pocket watch that Corona has given you. Opening the cover, you checked the time before placing it back in your pocket.

(Y/N): I'm going back to Corona. I wouldn't want to keep her waiting any longer.

The sounds of an airship drawing near captured your attention knowing that it was your ride home.

(Y/N): Be sure to come by visit whenever you get the chance.

Ruby smiled as she nodded before the both of gave a quick hug before parting ways.

Small Timeskip

Corona: *sigh* Its good to rest after a long day.

Luna: All you did was read stories for the children from the orphanage.

Corona: They were quite the handful, sometimes I forget how excited they are whenever I visit.

Her sister let out a small laugh since she usually likes to watch the priestess trying to calm the children.

Luna: Well they do admire the High Priestess the most.

Corona giggled as well before she began to have thoughts about a certain subject. Although, this particular subject made her entire face redden.

Corona: Y-you think t-that (Y/N) would w-want to... You know?... H-have children with me?

Luna's face reddened as well when she began to realize what her sister meant.

Luna: You shouldn't even be having thoughts about that yet!!

(Y/N): Thoughts about what?

Both girls shrieked at the same time since you slipped into the bedroom undetected.

Luna: Where'd you come from?!?!

(Y/N): ummm Vale? Elara came to pick me up when I was visiting Beacon's old spot.

The priestess then suddenly tackled you into a hug since she hadn't seen you in a month. You happily returned the warm embrace while the blue haired woman slipped out to give the both of you privacy.

Corona: I missed you.

(Y/N): I missed you too. Never thought I'd finally get out of that hospital.

Since the both of you were exhausted, you two decided to lay down on the bed while keeping a hold on each other.

Corona: I'm glad that you came back.

(Y/N): Yeah... Never knew how lonely I was without you. It's about time that I can finally rest after all that I've lived through.

Corona: Such as being put to near death?

(Y/N): It happened a lot more than you think.

She giggled until she leaned in so you done the same until both of your lips have finally met. After a good moment, the two of you separated from the kiss for air.

Corona: I love you (Y/N).

(Y/N): I love you too.

The sun haired woman smiled in delight before snuggling into your arms. The both of you didn't want the moment to end until you two have fallen asleep in each other's arms.

Flashback

Child: Wow... That was heavy...

Other child: You don't even know what that means!

Corona: Well the story is brand new. However there is one more I'd like to share with all of you. This one is rather special to me and I do hope that some of you will share it others.

Once upon a time, an angel set foot on Remnant to warn humans of The Great War. Nobody believed her and the kingdoms began to grow hostile. The angel could only watch as humanity was tearing itself apart. She wept for days until one day a man found her. The stranger was kind as he attempted to lift her spirits. It took him a month for the angel to cheer up and by then, she had fallen in love with him. The angel remained on Remnant to stay with him and they eventually had a child. That same child possessed unbelievable abilities that rivaled a maiden. The only ones that hold this power are the children within this line of family. They are the ones who guide the people of Remnant to salvation for they do not wish any violence but to protect them from evil.

As the high priestess spoke of the story, a memory of Lucius played alongside. The memory of her sister telling the story before her passing so that others may hear of it. They will not reveal the world about their true ancestry.
