Nearly Alone

Chapter Eleven

Harry's POV:

"Hi," she said

I don't know what to say,like  I literally don't know what to say

I needed help so I look back to Liam who is still sitting there looking at me,gesturing his hands to go and move forward so I did.

"H....uha," well that didn't work, I say to myself .

I clear my throat and just said, "Hi"

"it's been quite awhile huh?" she said with a light voice.

"Yea its been while"  I nod in agreement

"how's it going?" she says

"good" I say in return

"sorry"  we both stare at each other with wide eyes noticing that we said it together in sync.

we smile and I look down awkwardly and putting my hands in my pocket and we head towards the cafeteria and as I was about to say something I'm shocked when my hand waves past her hand and I notice how close we are.

I look back and I see Liam with Louis and Niall,so I tell her to wait and she stands next to a table that's filled with breakfast plates,

so I walk up to Liam and the guys and I ask Liam to lend me his car so he gives me a look knowing that it's it's a no, the face he made was quite funny and so I smile,

"come on mate lead it to him." Niall says

"I don't think so" said Liam

"yeah come on,"says Louis

and Liam is just there waiting and it dosent take long for him to decide when I point to look at Skylar, well I don't exactly  point I just nod my head towards her and he looks so he gives in.

"Fine," he says

"just bring it back afterschool OK I got practice," he says followed by him giving me his keys

"thanks mate" I say

"no problem just....just don't hurt Susanne,"he says

"I won't,"

I don't know what it is with football players and there cars I mean I get that they mean everything to them but to name there cars I guess thats not a little to weird.

so I walk towards Skylar and she looks at me with wide eyes filled with excitement and adventure

so I get to her and I ask her

"Hey want to get out of here?"

and she looks at me and says

"what now? don't you have to get to class?"

"Yea but I already did all the work," I say in return

"you already did all the work?" she says with a curious voice

"Yea a weeks worth of work I asked for two weeks of assignments to get ahead"

"oh thats kind of smart"

"Yea so do you want to leave cause  the bell rings in about twelve minutes and I don't want security asking us where we are heading and I don't want them to close the gates."

"but how are we gonna leave we came in the bus"

I smile and I life up my arm as I show her the keys she smiles and I'm losing my mind as I see how gorgeous she looks,

so I grab her hand and walk to Liams car well I don't think it felt like walking I think it was more like running.

when we get to the car she stops and I look at her and say

"what's wrong?"

"nothing it's just this is an amazing car"

"you think so?" I say I know I'm not a car person but for Skylar any day.

"Yea it's just breath taking,"

"well are you just gonna stand there and admire the car from the outside or you can get in the car and admire it from the inside."

she looks at me with excitement and squeals and smiles like a little girl,

I laugh and I got into the car, and in she followed still with a smile in her face.

so I start the car and put my seat belt on of course you know click it or ticket, and Skylar is just there looking at the material of the car,

it had black leather seats and lots of silver and I mean lots.

when I finally pull the car back I see the security guard going into his post knowing that it's a perfect time to get out so I floor it a little bit and as I'm about four feet away the security guard pokes his head on his away out and in just in the nick of time we are home free.

as I was driving out I didn't seem to notice that Skylar was talking to me so to make me look interested I just say

"sorry I didn't catch that,"

"I said that was exciting,"

"Yea it was," i say knowing what I just have done

"so where are you taking me?" Skylar asks

"well I'm gonna take you to an abandoned house and lock you I'm there"

she looks at me with terror not knowing that it was actually a joke the silence lasted about a good twenty seconds.

"I'm kidding" I say

"Oh don't do that,I was actually gonna spray you with pepper spray,"

my eyes open wide and I lift my arm in surrender and she laughs,

so I give in and ask her if she would like to eat something since we both realized that we missed breakfast,

"you..you hungry?" I ask

"Yea I'm starving,"

I smile and I ask her if she had ever eaten at Denny's as I drive down into the suburbs and she said no

"what do you mean no," I said

"well I have never been in this part of the city," she said

"well... welcome to the suburbs," I say

as she was willing to say something I interrupt her breaking the silence by  saying

"were here,"

she looks up from palms and looks up jumpy as if I had brought her out of a trance

"are you alright?" I ask

"Yea I was just thinking,"

"of what?,"

"nothing important,"

"OK," is all I say

did she hear me and Liam talking? if so what did she hear?

as I step out of the car I gather my things I already have my sweater on so the only thing I need was my Beanie so I reach into the back seat to get it, as I get it I look over to Skylar as she puts her makeup on I begin to wonder why didnt she say no? why did she want to come?
