This is my first Gerard Way/MCR fan fiction so I hope you like it :) I previously had it published but it was unfinished, so I unpublished it, but I'm now beginning to republish it again and it'll be completed!

I stood behind a line of people, waiting to get to the reception. Starting a new school was stressful and I was definitely not looking forward to it. I had already seem some guys beating up a kid, and a couple of girls walking around like they owned the place.
I wasn't sure whether to feel thankful or not about the fact that this school didn't have a uniform policy. My last school had strict rules about uniform and no one dared step out of line. At that school, nobody ever had fights, bullied, or smoked behind the trees; they knew they would get busted. Nobody could pick on me for my sense of fashion, as they never knew what it was. But this place, it seemed so much more laid back. I was sure that somebody was going to come up to me and start snickering about my Thin Lizzy t shirt.
Finally, I reached the reception desk. A couple of girls stared at me before flouncing away.
"Hi, I am, um, new." I stuttered to the receptionist. She gave me a brief smile and looked me up and down before shuffling through some papers.
"Ah, so you must be Jessica Dyson." She replied after holding up one of the sheets. I nodded quickly.
"I have your timetable here." She rootled around another pile of sheets as she spoke. Before long, she pulled out a rather bright orange sheet. "Your teachers know you are coming. So just follow your timetable and you will be fine."
"Thank you for your help." I smiled, trying to sound as friendly as possible to make a good first impression. I had always had exceptional behaviour in my previous school; my grades had been high, I had never had detention, and all the teachers loved me. But of course, there was nothing wrong with that in that school. Nobody dared to bully me, claiming I am a nerd, even if they wanted to. In fact, many other pupils were a lot like me. I hadn't had many friends, but a small group of three. We were the best of friends.
I had had to move house as for my father's new job, and if I could do anything, I would move back there. I missed my friends already and it was only just the start. We hadn't been in our new house long but my parents were eager to get my education on top. They were so dedicated about getting me to become a genius or something or other.
I flicked my timetable over, to reveal a school map. The school looked so huge on the map, and I was sure I would get lost. The day hadn't officially started, so I had ten minutes to reach home room.
I slowly ambled around the corridors, keeping my head buried in the map.
"Hurry up, punk!" A boy behind me shouted. I spun around. He was tall and had two friends with him. He was wearing the most awful tie dye hoodie and ripped jeans. He had a snapback on and was wearing sunglasses, indoors. The other two boys dressed similar. In my opinion, they looked hideous.
Without speaking, I edged out of the way and they walked past. From the other direction, a girl was walking. She saw the boys, and screamed. I had to cover my ears to block out the awful noise. She leapt into one of their arms and he spun her around. She was wearing the shortest skirt I had ever seen and a white blouse tucked in. Her blonde hair was dyed so much, that it was almost white. Her face was plastered orange and her lips were bright pink. Her feet scratched against the walls; she had the highest heels ever I could imagine. Of course, this look was 'attractive' these days.
Through the sappy kisses she was giving to - who I presumed was her boyfriend - she glared at me. She looked me up and down and snorted in disgust, like I was some atrocious animal. I sighed, and quickly skidded past them. The day hadn't started and already people disliked me.
