The sun fell asleep, with the day being gone darkness fills the town of Oakridge. The Sheriff's Office is the midway point; from Oakridge and the rival town BirchWood. The drive to BirchWood from Oakridge is between thirty minutes to an hour but for some reason this car ride took longer than usual. Rain pours throughout the town of Oakridge while BirchWood is sunny with no clouds in sight. As Grey notices that the left side Oakridge's sky is dark, Emo clouds shooting thunderbolts throughout the town, while BirchWood had a beautiful sun with baby blue skies.

Grey and Officer Hernandez go inside the main lobby, a room with basic chairs and magazines on the table to keep you busy while you wait forever for assistance. Officer Hernandez orders Grey to sit in the lobby while he finds the sheriff, Officer Hernandez walks to the lady at the desk.

"Hello Miss Sherry is Sheriff Will in today?"

"He'll be here in a minute, he just left to BirchWood." Miss Sherry smiles at officer Hernandez before giving Grey a death stare.

"Who's the kid?" Her voice went from a kind tone to a harsh sound.

"Oh he's a witness/victim/suspect in the Oakridge high troubles."

"How is this boy a Witness and Victim while being a suspect at the same time."

"The boy said he'll cooperate with us, and tell us everything he knows about the disappearances and deaths in Oakridge that's been happening lately."

"Alright, Oakridge was a sweet town now everyone there is becoming crazy." Miss Sherry rolls her eyes.

Grey takes a seat looking around, the sheriff's office was a small wooden hut, that was way bigger inside than outside. Grey grabs a magazine from the table and begins reading to waste time. Grey starts peeping at Miss Sherry trying to read her facial expressions. She's a hard lady to figure out. The door opened, officer Hernandez appeared to be greeted by another officer.

"Officer Rodger what brings you to BirchWood?" Miss Sherry asks in a sweet kind voice.

Officer Rodger was a black male, a shaved head, and an everlasting pitch black beard. He had an African American kid behind him who looked familiar. This kid had a mini Afro, had strong cheekbones, and was a little short for his age, he looked like he was 13 but I can tell he's a sophomore, I seen him in gym before names floated around my head as I couldn't find the proper name to say to the kid, the kid was bruised, had a cut on his cheek, and was constantly looking back at the door like he was trying to escape something, breathing heavily looking very paranoid, Miss Sherry grabs the kid and helps him to a seat next to me, she gives him a cup of water. I sat quiet while Officer Rodger begins to speak.

"There were two houses on fire in Oakridge, this kid house was on fire, he lost his family in the fire. He was running in the streets claiming a giant spider was behind him. When I arrived to the scene there was no fire. He was this bruised and beaten up once I got him."

A giant spider I thought to myself. They thought that I was crazy but this guy was chased by a giant spider. I looked over to the kid and he looks at me, we both had that same paranoid look of fear living in our eyes. I wanted to know what happened, I was thirsty for information, I wanted to hear his side and I can tell he wanted to know what I knew. Officer Rodgers and Officer Hernandez go outside and Miss Sherry is calling the sheriff. Now's my time to act.

"Hey bud what's your name?" I asked.

"I'm LeRoy but you can call me Royce."

"Your LeRoy isn't your nickname Lil PacMan?"

"Yeah that's my nickname too only my close friends call me that though." Royce said confused.

After being silent for a few more minutes I broke the ice asking him "Was it Pain." After the words connected to his ears his eyes widen and his jaw drops. I ask him again "Was it Pain?" This time he nodded his head yes.
