Joy and Jamie spent a lot of time together, Jamie has always been by Joy side since elementary. Piper was Joy's bestfriend in Pre school. Piper mother is a maid and her dad is a truck driver. Piper was not rich but had enough money, when Joy first met piper in pre school Joy flashed off all of her new earrings and rings and jewelry, Instead of having envy for Joy Piper was happy that Joy had everything she wanted. Joy and Piper used to have slumber parties a lot, they would read books together, paint each other's nails, even have tea parties with Joys animals. Once Jamie came into the scene slowly Joy started acting different towards Piper. In middle school Piper and Joy barely hung out, spoke little to each other. The start of freshmen year Piper made the cheer team, Piper has always been in the popular crowd since 8th grade when she started wearing make up to school, changing her hairstyle to pigtails with blonde tips at the end,  Piper is a natural brown haired girl, During her freshman cheer run Piper always had her hair dyed with multiple colors, Piper was asked to join Varsity cheer by the senior captain Trish, While Joy asked to join Varsity the seniors laughed at Joy. Few weeks later while Piper is performing with the Varsity cheer squad, Joy starts spreading rumors about Piper to the JV cheer team. Joy told everyone about how BROKE Piper was, how her father is never home, how she used to always beg to come over. Joy painted a negative imagine towards Piper, who was innocent; Piper never had any problems prior to this incident. Joy always competes with Piper, fearing that people will accept Piper over Joy, she sees Piper as a rival. While Piper is carefree, she only entertains Joy whenever she tries to make fun of Piper in front of people.

Piper paces back and forth throughout her bedroom, thoughts of Pain kept replaying in her head, the fact that variable is missing, and D Train body was found headless in the locker room bothered Piper. Piper leaves her room, walking into her moms room, her mom is stretched out on the bed sound asleep. She decides to sneak into her mothers purse and take her pack of cigarettes. Piper walks outside smoking a cigarette, and decides to walk to Greys house.  As Piper walks down the street, the sunny sky turns into a gloomy grey cloud, out of nowhere it starts raining.
Piper runs back to her house to cover herself in a hoodie, it's a silver hoodie with Oakridge in yellow font in the front. Piper reaches for the door, twist the knob just as thunder strikes. Piper turns around to see her mom with her purse in hand.

"What did I tell you about stealing from me!"

Piper looks fearless at her mom as she prepares herself for a lecture.

"You don't steal shit from people! That's how people die! Get they ass shot up! Ain't no fuckin games being played on this earth! Stealing gives people a reason to end your fucking life! Are you listening to me! And Cigarettes what the fuck are you doing with my cigarettes, if you want some get your own."  Pipers mother screams in rage.

"Do you want your pack back? I was doing you a favor by destroying these cancer sticks, I wouldn't dare steal from my mother than smoke her things, I was simply going to throw them away for you." Piper spoke sounding innocent as possible.

Piper mother rolls her eyes before asking where Piper is going, she responded by telling her mom that she's going to walk to Greys house.

"Walk to a Boys house? Back then the lady did not have to go to the boy!"

"Well we aren't dating I'm just going to his house to check on him. He left school early."

"I don't want you walking, I know you seen the news and seen the missing children posters all over town. This behavior isn't normal, I want my daughter to be safe. Take my car, you have your permit right, just obey the speed limit and avoid being on the police radar."

Pipers mom tosses her the car keys before returning to her room for another slumber. Piper walks outside and stares at the vehicle. Pipers Dad had the nicer car, he drove a black two door 2015 BMW while her mom drove a 2005 truck, which has enough room to fit about 7 people. The truck was a faded yellow with a dark black highlight. Piper realizes that this is better than walking, she opens the car door, starts the car; drives off towards Greys house.
