You wanna know something interesting? I can tell that the lovely springs are over; the blazing summer heat is gone once you see the envy green trees turn into rotten stems with blood like leaves everywhere on the concrete sidewalk. Blood like leaves fusing with orangish yellow leaves dancing together creating what some call a perfect combination. I see the yellow as pure, the innocent who are unaware of what is going on but the yellow has relations with the orange, the orange is guilty as charged, orange has every right to be orange, orange is the problem, then RED. The destroyer of the two, which will bring in an unwanted justice. In Oakridge IL a small town filled with tree's many kids made money by raking leaves just to jump inside. That was the peaceful Oakridge a year ago; now these bloody leaves are a sign of what's to come. When Brian Smith son of Hector Smith a star varsity player back in his high school days ended up missing the entire town went nuts. The missing kid prior to Brian Smith was a outcast that nobody knew, his foster parents reported that he ran away. So in his case nobody felt bad for him because he was labeled a run away. But Brian Smith, had a hot tub in his backyard. Nobody has the fucking shit unless you're fucking rich, he had a fucking PS4 Vita, nobody plays that shit! He doesn't even play that shit! He just has it to flex on us!! His father coaches Oakridge High home of the Lions; a school the last missing kid attended as well.
Many people found that Brian and that another missing kid had things similar. For one it's been a fifteen year difference, they both went to the same school, both were african american. Well Brian is mixed his father Hector is black and his Mother is a light skinned woman.
A few weeks have past since Brian had disappeared, police patrol the school investigating every student, teacher, dean even opening any lockers they happen to walk by. Coach Hector hasn't been to school lately, he's my P.E. teacher, he's a very motivational person, who always wants college for every student no matter your race or skill. Well i lied, if you don't play football for him or if you don't play any sports in general he doesn't give two shits about you. Well that was another lie, he does give two shits about you if you're good, if your good expect hella branded equipment and the ride of your life as he will ride your dick until you're numb, but if you're not skilled or a "Bench Warmer/Reserve" than your as good as a person who doesn't play for the team, which means he doesn't give a fuck about you.
My mother hasn't seen his wife watering her flowers like she used too daily. I never liked Brian Smith, he would bully me and my friends because we weren't on the same financial level as him. Your probably wondering my name, but that's not important my nickname is Grey and I'm a sophomore at Oak Ridge high. I'm an African American, who believes in demons, monsters spirits, you name it, like how can there be a god with no devil? I always find myself in situations i don't want to be in, thanks to my friends but we'll introduce them in a minute.
Even though I disliked Brian my mother and pops would always go over to the Smith household, my mother adored his mom's gardening skills, Pops and coach hector would get lost in debates about sports plays he should've called for ages. Then there was me and Brian, nothing really connected between us, just forced to hang together. He would tell me to put headphones on while we were in his room and he would call his girlfriend. Sometimes he would bribe me to leave him alone, he would complain about me ruining his plans to hotbox with his little crew. Brian was the big brother I never had and I never asked for.
My friends in school thought i had cool points because i hung out with the varsity wide receiver Brian Smith, who has already 6 touchdowns in 3 games. He's so popular that i became popular just by being his neighbor. My best friends are kinda weird which puts me in an odd position because I'm not weird. My nerdy hispanic friend Carlos aka Variable is a fiend for information, he's always coming up with schemes and plans. Carlos was a kid who always said the wrong things at the wrong time, he is a very intelligent one who lacks street smarts, his smart mouth and attitude usually gets him his ass handed to him by bullies. Variable is one of those nerds who is very curious but never afraid to take risk, never afraid to stand up to bullies or take a beating. Me and Variable became friends while dodging the biggest school bully D-Train, an infamous football player who hung out with Brian a lot. D-Train would take Variable lunch money and bully him in front of the cheerleaders. Me he would chase me through the halls but fail to catch me, Variable set him up once where he ran into his own trap, slipped on paper spoiled with baby oil, crashing into lockers breaking his arm. After that day i realize the brilliance in Variable, we swore to always be with each other to the end, he is my brother, my best friend.
