Chapter 2: Will the Humiliation go on?

"Put your hands all over, put your hands all over me." My alarm was going off. Ugh. I HATE mornings. At least my dad was home. "I'M AWAKE!" I yelled. "Honey, let your dad sleep. He had a tiring night last night." "K." I ran downstairs, into the kitchen for breakfast. "French toast?" I asked. "Yes, honey." I ❤ French toast. It is my life! After breakfast, I ran to my room and got dressed, did my hair and makeup, checked my phone, and got in the car to drive to school. When I got to my school, I went on twitter and posted.

After I posted on twitter I walked into my school. "Hey, Annabel." My friend, Ashlei, says. "Hi Ash."

"How's your dad?" "Very tired. Did you see him on Ellen lastnight?" "Yes, I'm sure everyone did." "I love having a famous dad." "Isn't it tough though?" "Yes." "Well at least y-" "Hey, Annabel." Jackson. Oh crap. "Hi, Jackson." "I saw your dad on TV last night. He's pretty awesome." "I know." I smiled. "So, do you wan-" Right then and there, Lilian started flirting with Jackson. "I guess I'll see you around, Jackson." Ashlei and I walked away. "Bel, did you hear about Megan Parken's new video?" "Yes. I saw it already." "Oh-k. That's cool." We went to our first period class, math. "Hello, Miss Levine." The teacher, Mrs. Stonie, said. "Hi Mrs. Stonie." Ashlei and I walked to our seats. Oh crap. I forgot I sat behind Lilian. "Ok, class." Mrs. Stonie started talking about what we were doing today. "Any questions?" Nobody raised their hand. "Ok. Let's get started." When fifth period came, it was time for lunch. "Ash." "Yes?" "Let's be careful and not sit near" I lowered my voice. "Lilian." "Ok" During lunch all everyone talked about was my dad's appearance on TV last night. Except for Lilian. "Hi, dork." Lilian yelled across the cafe'. Everyone ignored her. Especially me. "HELLO?! Are you people deaf?" "Nope." I said with a smile. "Then listen to me!!!!!" "No can do. Y'know, people don't need to hear you yelling at the top of your lungs, missy." I high-fived Ashlei. "Shut-" Lunch was over. Finally. No more humiliation. After lunch and eight period, it was time to go home. "Phew. Had to live with that diva." I said to Ashlei when we were walking to my car. Once we got into the car, I called my dad.

"Hi, hon. How was school?"

"WAY better than yesterday."

"That's good. Come home right away. I have a surprise for you."

"Ok!"

"Bye, hon. Be quick!"

"I will! Love you, dad."

"Love you, too hon."

When I got home, my dad shoved his band's cd in my face. "Dad! Thank you so much!" "No problem." I went up to my room and put the cd in my cd player. I listened to his music until dinner time. Sausage bake. Yum! At the dinner table, I told my parents all about how everyone wouldn't stop talking about my dad all day. "They said you were so hilarious and funny." "That's what I get for being famous!" Whenever I tell my dad that people talked about him, he says that. Typical dad. After dinner I left the table and rushed to my room. I heard my parents talking. "Adam! She'd love that!" Surprise? I guess so.
