Chapter thirteen ~ netflix & chill?

14: Netflix and chill?

I woke up to my annoying alarm clock. Ugh what a great way to start the day.

I decided to go to a cafe and just chill there today.
The moment I enter, the beautiful aroma of fresh coffee filled my lungs.
Mm how much I missed this. I got myself a cup of coffee and sat down on a chair as I watching what was happening outside. I suddenly heard the door to the cafe open and saw a familiar lady my age walk in.
I kept my eyes on her as she looks very familiar. I decided to go ask who she was.
I stepped forward and her head turned to face me. She gasped in shock. Huh?
"JADE?" She asked with a loud voice.
I recognized that voice immediately! I reached out to give her a big hug. She was my best friend in high school!
"Jessica !" I said excitedly.
"I missed you so much ! It's so great to see you living your life with celebrities now !" She giggled.
"Yeah" I laughed.
"Hey let's go sit down" I smiled.
"Yas"
We made our way to an empty table and started chatting away.
"Ok so what's up with you and Shawn Mendes?" She smirked.
"I can't talk about it here" I whispered.
"But I kinda like him and I don't know if he likes me back. I mean we cuddled once. And I'm pretty sure that we.. yano fucked" her eyes widened.
"I mean I woke up after a night of too many shots with a naked Shawn sleeping right next to me.." I started blushing.
"Holy shit you like himmm" she pushed pushed my shoulder.
"Shut upp" I said as my cheeks started to get hot.

We started chatting for a while then she had to leave.

I stared down at her number saved in my contacts and smiled. She was a really good friend back in high school. When I was going through a hard time she would always be there for me .

I returned home and threw myself on the bed after a stressful day.
..
Next day ..

I woke up to the familiar sound of my phone ringing. Who could it be very early in the morning ??
I opened my eyes careful not to hurt them and read a blurry "Ashley".
I picked up the phone with a very weak "hello"
"Hey sorry for disturbing I just wanted to let you know that today is basically a free day where you could do anything you would like. I mean you aren't here for work" she laughed.
"Okay" I giggled back.
"Thanks Ashley" and with that I ended the call.

.. silence. Yep I can't go to sleep now. I pushed the bed covers away from my body and sat down on my bed.
I wonder what Shawn's up to right now.

Shawn's POV:

I finished writing and recording the album weeks ago so now i basically have nothing to do.
I mean at least I'm finally in Canada but other than that I'm bored.
I wonder what jade's up to. I actually kind of miss her.

I stared at the message I had written. Should I send it? YEP I AM DOING IT. I press send ..
Me: hey :)
Well shit I hope she responds.
I get a notification and instantly my eyes move to my phone.

Jade: hey shawn !
Shawn: whatcha doin?
Jade: eh nothin really I'm bored haha
Shawn: same. Your place in five?
Jade: only if you bring me ice cream hehe
Shawn: alright .... I'm bringing the queen some ice cream 😂
Jade: hehe you love me 😂
Shawn: hmm.. do I?
Jade: 😒
Shawn: alright alright I'm on my way 😂

I knocked on the door with some cookies and cream ice cream in my hands .
Jade opened the door and gasped at the ice cream "my favorite!" She almost yelled.
She grabbed the ice cream from my hands and hugged it. I laughed at her silliness.
"Hey so I don't get a hug too?" I said while faking a sad face.
She giggles and lightly wrapped her arms around me and pecked my cheek.
I felt my cheeks grow hot. Damn the things she does to me with a simple kiss on the cheek.

"Shawn this is too scary" she whispers into my ear with her arms wrapped around my neck.
"We can stop watching it if you'd like" I whisper back. I open my eyes unaware that they were closed to see jade's face inches away from mine.. her warm breath slowly hitting my face as she breathes, and in this moment I don't know what happened. I don't even know how it happened or how I got enough courage to do it. I kissed her ..
Our lips slowly moving perfectly.
Her lips felt so soft against mine. God I like her so much..
The kiss grew hotter within every second. It was now fast and hot .. my hands go to her jawline and grab it with force.
She wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me closer. I gently push her down causing her to lay on her back as I was hovering over her and fiercely kissing her lips. My lips move to her neck and gently suck I hear a soft sexy moan escape her lips as I started sucking harder. I let go of her neck and stare at the red/purple spot I had left there.
We were now just staring into each other's eyes as we caught our breath after that juicy make out session.
She came closer and pecked my lips and placed her head on my shoulder. Her fingers interlock with mine as we continue watching the movie.
