Chapter twenty five

(No title bc I couldn't think of one)

The cold winter breeze hit my face as Shawn and I got out of the car.
We're on our way to meet up with Hailey at a restaurant.

Shawn's arms were placed gently on my shoulder, dragging me along.
"You know. I'm actually really excited to taste the food"
Shawn laughs loudly.

"You're so obsessed with eating it amazes me sometimes"
"Well what can I say. I'm a girl who loves to eat" I laugh.

We enter the restaurant. I'm starting to get nervous now. And I know there's no reason to feel nervous but I'm just nervous because I don't know what she'll do.

Maybe she'll flirt with Shawn and I'm that type who gets jealous kinda easily so that will not end well..

"Right this way" the waitress smiles.
I guess she's taking us to our table.

We see Hailey as she spots us and stands up.
She smiles as Shawn then turns her head to me and the smile fades away.

"Hi" she awkwardly and madly says.
"Hey" I innocently smile.

"Take a seat" she says , looking at me.
Shawn takes a seat next to me. Leaving her sitting by herself right in front of us.

Hailey and Shawn start talking which makes me feel a little left out.
Shawn notices so he says
"Jade is great" Shawn says as he smiles at me.
"You're great too." I giggle.

"He's stupid though" I tell Hailey.
"I can hear that" he crosses his arms.
"I know you can sweetheart that's why I said it" I laugh.

"Jade. Don't be mean to my shawnie" Hailey raises an eyebrow.
"Your shawnie? Hmm he never told me about that" I look at Shawn innocently.

"Maybe because I'm not hers. I'm someone else's" he smirks at me.
"Are you two dating or something?" Hailey interrupts.

Shawn and I look at each other
"Maybe. You shall never know" I laugh.

Hailey was third wheeling and I kinda feel bad but I don't at the same time because she's trying to get with Shawn. And he's mine.

"What do you love about me?" I randomly ask Shawn as we were watching the golden sunset.

We were both sitting in front of a tree comfortably in each other's arms.
"Everything" he said before he kissed my cheek.

"Your eyes, your smile, your laugh and I love how goofy you can be sometimes" he silently chuckles.
"And of course ... I love it when you ride me" I can feel him smirk.

"Cant you just be romantic for once" I laugh.
"I love it when you kiss me" he whispers to my ear sending shivers down my spine.
"And I Just Love you. All of you. Every inch of you" he says causing the butterflies in my stomach to flutter around.

"We've been together for a while and u still never fail to give me butterflies in my stomach" I shyly mumble.

He chuckles "and you never fail to make me smile"

The night has taken over as Shawn and I made our way back to the car.
I spot the car not too far from where we were.

"Race ya" he winks as he starts running towards the car.
"NO FAIR" I say as I try to catch up to him.

I surprisingly reach the car before he did. I was out of breath.

"Take me into your loving arms.. kiss me under the light of a thousand stars" Shawn was quietly singing.

We both looked up at each other. We both had the same smile glues to our faces.
It's like he read my mind.

He took me into his arms and we romantically slow danced under the thousand stars up on the dark sky above us.

"Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars" I sang and so he pressed his lips against mine and gently grabbed my face with his two hands.

He slowly pulled away "I'll never get sick of kiss you" he chuckles.

"Hmm.. I'm really excited for tour" I admit.
"Me too. I love my fans and I can't wait to perform again"
"I wonder if they'll ask about us. Not sure what I'd answer with to be honest. I hate lying to my fans but this is all because of the fake dating thing" I sigh.

"Hey it's alright ... it'll be over sooner or later but that's the thing. We can't be seen hanging out and that'll make it a little hard for us to see each other" he admits sadly.

What if we'll have to end things? I don't want to end things with him.. I love him it'll be so hard. No.. we can't let that happen, we're in love with each other. We need each other. He's my boyfriend but he's also my best friend and he knows everything about me. I can't lose him..
