Naruto stared at Sakura's closed eyes, her feet stained with cuts from the ice outside the hospital. He continued to hold her, quietly sneaking through the hallways, an eery white light splattered the cold brick walls. He wondered what Sakura was doing outside, as the white light beamed upon his face. Wandering the halls recklessly, he came upon Sakura's door. Seeing the scratches torn across the door, he placed Sakura in the bed, pulling out a kunai as he did so.
"Anyone there?" Naruto asked gruffly, his kunai held in front of his face sharply.
Upon getting no answer, he wandered through the familiar halls of the hospital, hunting for his Anbu partner.
"Bloodbath?" He asked quietly, stepping out on the cold floor. The atmosphere was frozen, and getting colder as a draft swarmed from the window, shivering over his body.
Quietly shutting Sakura's door, Naruto turned on his heel and approached the front desk.
"Nurse Suzumoto, I would like to know Bloodbaths whereabouts-"
Naruto spoke as he looked up, choking on his spit as he looked away, his breath heavy.
"Oh no." Naruto choked as he ran to the second desk, before stopping and staring at the blood covered hallway.
"Something happened.." Naruto murmured in shock as he wiped his eyes.
Realizing he hadn't checked on Bloodbath before leaving, he stomped up the stairs to her office, ramming open the door, only to see the scattered unmade sheets, which greeted him with fear.
"Where are you?!" He panted as he reached back down the stairs, running through all the halls like a maniac.
"Please don't leave me alone again.."

Bloodbath wiped her eyes as she looked up from her hands.
"Hello?" She called out shakily, her eyes darting from the corners of the isolated hallway, solitude brimming form its corners.
"It seems my presence has frightened you little one." A raspy voice spoke, its voice slithering on her back.
Turning around rather sharply, she let the voice roll off her back as it approached her again.
"You can't hide from me." It smirked again, the voice being spoken from the front of her this time.
"Stay away!" Bloodbath yelled, clutching her kunai tightly.
"Oh really? What are you going to do to stop me?" The monster smiled greedily, slamming Bloodbath against the wall rather silently.
"You're quiet pretty too, you know." It said calmly, brushing her hair out of her face as Bloodbath struggled.
"Maybe I won't kill you yet, after all you spoke to the one and only Nightfox, without it ending in him hating you." It smirked thoughtfully before grabbing her arms.
"Nighty night Bloodbath." It smiled, knocking the poor girl out with its elbow.
Scooping up the unconscious body, he heard the sound of footsteps.
"Good luck finding this one, Nightfox." It smirked before shunshining away in a whirl of black smoke.
Feeling the wind blow past her face before falling completely unconscious, she found herself whispering.
"Sorry Naruto, I guess this is the end."

Naruto's foot steps clanged on the tile unevenly as tears formed in his eyes.
"What if that was Bloodbaths blood?!" He asked himself angrily, filled with raging sadness.
"What if it was my fault?!" Naruto growled at himself even louder, teeth clenched in fury.
Storming down the halls, he saw nothing but a small poof of black smoke and Bloodbaths crying voice.
"Bloodbath!" Naruto screamed loudly, throwing out his hand to grab her hand, only to slip through, her possibly last sentence being whispered in his ear.
"I'm sorry Naruto, it seems this is the end."

Sakura shivered in her sleep, the bodies and blood of the nurses who had protected her so lovingly haunting her dreams, blaming her for their deaths, telling her to die like a caged dog, telling her to-
And then she woke up, the blanket that had been covering her, brushing off her shoulders as she wiped the sweat off her face.
Clambering out of her bed, she tripped on a small item perched on the floor next to her.
It seemed that in the rush, Nightfox had left behind his leaf village necklace, which usually was swung around his neck.
Holding it warmed her hands, giving her a sense of comfort as she unclipped the small clip on the back and put it around her neck.
Her body fell into a relaxed state as she climbed back onto the bed, the necklace somehow scaring away her bad dreams and filling her with an undying sense of love.
As her head rested upon the pillow, she felt her eyes grow heavy.
"Who was I to him?"
***
The crimson woman sat on her throne impatiently, her feet tapping on the cream colored floors.
"Why can't my assassin be any goddamn faster?!" The woman growled angrily at herself, upset with her choosing of who would kill Naruto for her. Her first assassin had failed, and to risk any chance of him leading back to her, it was quite obvious what she had to do. She killed him, and left his body to rot in the middle of the ballroom. Many of the other assassins she had invited had ended the same way, as once they saw the body they would try to run in fear. But the one she had now, didn't even flinch once he entered her ballroom, as he stepped over the dead body and stared her dead in the eye.
"I want the job." He spoke simply, his cold eyes glaring into her.
"As you wish." She smiled deviously.
If the assassin didn't come back, it was obvious who would have to finish the job.
"I will destroy you Naruto Uzumaki, if it's the last thing I do!"

Fin.

Anyway, sorry for not updating! I'm in cross country and let's just say going to bed at 12:00 with homework and waking up at 5:00 for running isn't exactly pleasant. Anyway, I'm so happy to get this chappy out after a long time!
See ya!
