Chapter 8: My Sister

Adam's POV

I saw Jerome, Mitch, Ryan, and some girl leave the prison cells and decided to see if there were any more prisoners I should get to know. I need to make some outside friends eventually. I ran inside the prison and looked at all the rusty cells until I eventually heard a girl crying

"Who's there?" I asked calmly while I started to smell blood. I ran to that cell and then saw my sister

"Lizzie?!" I gasped

"A...Adam?" She asked weakly

I unlocked the cell, rushed to her, and gave her a big hug

"Where have you been all this time?" I asked her

"Living in the city. After that one day I saw you disappear, I gave up hope that you would return. I waited three years for you, never came" She sighed as tears rushed down her face. I cut her chains and picked her up

"I'm here now, don't worry" I whispered

Mitch's POV

"So how are you supposed to make Ryan and Britt friends?" I questioned Jerome

"With my powers" He stated

"Oh right" I sighed

I looked quickly around to try and find Ryan, but couldn't see him

"I don't see him though" I told him

"Hmm" Jerome started thinking, until we heard an explosion downstairs and a silvery glow came down from there

"What was that?" I asked

"Come on" Jerome ordered and we ran down there

Quentin was knocked out down there with Preston towering over him, glowing a silver color with purple particles floating around him

"Preston, what did you do!" Jerome yelled

Preston turned around and revealed him having a greenish glow to his eyes

"Quentin had ordered me to sit down to check on something on me, so I did. Then Ian came out of nowhere and told Quentin that the two girls I brought in had escaped. Quentin yelled and flipped a table," He pointed to the flipped table, "then told me to stay where I was, which I did. He then told me to drink this elixir and then I felt weird. A burst of energy rushed through me and struck Quentin, which made him faint. Now, here we are" Preston explained. He was sure good with detail

"Ok, but where is Ian?" I asked

"Trying to find the girls" He told me

"What are their names?" Jerome questioned

"Kaitlin and Claire" Preston explained

"I need to go" Jerome stated as he vanished

Britt's POV

"Why didn't you tell me Jerome was your husband!" Ryan yelled at me

"Because we thought the other was dead!" I explained

Ryan growled and picked me up by the neck collar of my shirt

"It's too late to change things Ryan!" I told him

"Unless you divorce him" He sighed

A figure appeared out of the corner of my eye and I saw Jerome standing there

"J...Jerome?" I asked astonished

His eyes glowed a black color and he walked straight over to Ryan

"Look into my eyes" He ordered Ryan as he meekly looked at them. I saw Ryan become in a completely calm state and his eyelids were halfway closed

"What are you doing Jerome?" I questioned him quietly

"Listen McNutly, no matter what happens, you are going to remain Britt's friend and protect her no matter what. Got it?" Jerome questioned him as Ryan nodded like he was about to fall asleep, but I knew he was fully awake

"Good" Jerome stated and dropped Ryan as he disappeared

"Ryan!" I yelled out and ran to him

"I...I'm alright" He stated

"You sure?" I asked him

"Positive" He smiled
