New dawn

Sorry it's taking me so long to update I've had a lot of shitty things happen to me lately but I'm updating now so yay! Hope all of you are doing well :)

( Rosalie has been training her pack four times a week , security has gone up by 60 percent , they are bringing in more money now for trades and business deals and she is now full time leader of the pack)

I would be lying if I said I didn't miss Rider. In all honesty I do , because I miss having a companion. I miss someone holding me at night even if it was short lived. Today there is a council meeting and I must go. The moon goddess knows I damn sure don't want to. My pack is thriving. I on the other hand have been self wallowing if I must say but I would never show it infront of my loved ones. For them I must be strong.
" Hey there Luna" Lucas my number one warrior says to me happily.
" Hey Luke , who put extra sugar in your honey combs" I laugh a little.
" well , I , the most magical and finely chiseled" he pauses after that doing a pose and flexes his boobs " have finally found my mate" he says smugly.
" oh have you now!?" I can't believe it! Finally , he has been waiting forever!!
" yes! Her name is Lilly , as you know our leader must allow new members into the pack so I was wondering ..." he trails off giving me the puppy eyes. Oh darn it! He's always so convincing.
" you know I can't say no to you Lucas" I sigh
" but I have to meet her first" I say as he runs off excitedly jumping in the air and clapping his feet together. I shake my head at him and laugh. He's such an idiot.
Getting ready for this council meeting I'm slightly nervous I mean it's my first one. What are we going to sit around a bonfire and tell stories or something? Oh shit! It's twelve already!? I briskly walk out of the room hurrying as much as I can but I know I'm going to be a little more than fashionably late. Dammit rose what was I even doing!? Stupid me just having to get my eyeliner right. I roll my eyes. Twins , not sisters rose!
As I walk in the building I'm in awe. It was beautiful. The ceilings were high with large chandeliers and the floors were a deep brown contrasting with the sky blue walls. I walk in and see pretty much a sausage fest as several men are crowded around a table. I take a deep breath trying to gain a little confidence as I opened the door entering the room. The most amazing smell came to my nose as soon as I opened it. It smelled of coffee and freshly baked cinnamon buns. My mouth literally is watering. Where are the refreshments? I'm starving! But as I got another whiff a smell over powered the food?
Whoever had this cologne on I wanted to sit by them. I took a deeper sniff and I heard my wolf wine. Shh I am trying to hear I say to her.
" uh hem?" I look up at the male speaking to me.
" yes sir?" I am quite nervous again
" who might you be?" He says irritated
" I am Rosalie sanders Luna of the scarlet moon pack" I say trying to muster up some courage and focus but the cologne one of these men is wearing is almost making me want to find him and kiss him all over.
" and why are you here where is the alpha?" He says to me gruffly. Well excuse me.
" I am the leader of the pack it is just me" he looks at me questionably.
" let me ask again girl , where is alpha rider?" Suddenly I got angry , so so angry and I couldn't help but to lash out.
" Do not speak to me as If I am some garbage you walk on ! I am to be respected , Rider is no longer in control and that doesn't concern you" I don't know where this anger came from but I growled as the words came out. The men's eyes all went wide with fear and as I glanced at my self in the mirror I seen why. My eyes were glowing and my teeth descended slightly. I was a beautiful , terrifying mess. But one man , one very attractive man looked at me admiringly. As if he were proud and his eyes shone brightly.
" yes madam , uh uhm, please sit down if you may" I was irritated now , so of course I will not comply.
" I will stand here and listen. Continue" I said with my voice full of authority. I liked the new me. The moon goddess and I have been communicating through my dreams more lately and I'm trying to figure out why. I've gotten a small amount of clues but she comes to me every night sometimes with the same dream playing over and over.
" yes madam" he says as he turns going on about the stupid ball they are having this coming up month so the new " of age" wolves can find their mate. I couldn't help but keep glancing over at this man. He was covered in tattoos and I have to say I wanted to lick him like a lollipop. His skin looked so soft and his face was perfectly sculptured. Looking at him hurt me physically because I had to restrain myself from going over this table. Why am I acting this way? And why am I suddenly so over Rider? It's wrong of me to think this way of another man when my loyalty should still remain to Rider even though I did reject him as my mate in the end.
" it's at 5pm sharp , try not to be late" he says as he glances at me and I growl slightly. He jumps a little and I want to laugh. Come on I'm really not that bad , I don't bite. Well , there's exceptions to that ( wink wink). As the guys begin to file out the only one left is the man who smells so goddess awfully good the room begins to fill with his smell now that everyone has gone.
Why haven't I left? Why can't I move my feet?
He gets up slowly walking to me and as he gets closer I feel my feet unstick and I back up slowly looking up at him.
" what's your name?" He says and I couldn't have imagined his voice being any more perfect. I can't make my jaw move. I'm still backing up as I hit a wall and he puts his hands against the wall on either side of my head.
" not so firey now are you love?" He says nuzzling my neck and I feel him smirk as my heart accelerates.
" I'm Rose and - and you need to back the hell up!" I say and push him away.
" come on don't talk to your mate that way" he says smugly.
" I don't have a mate" I growl at him and I see his smirk drop quickly.
" so you reject me and you don't even know me?!" Oh yeah he's definitely mad. I can't have a mate , mine went rouge. I've already been given my hand of cards.
" I don't have a mate to reject Mr. smirky pants!" I shoot back " I've already had my chance and it got fucked up like everything else so don't get all up in my shit claiming me to be your long lost mate" I say poking my finger in his chest with each word. He grabs my hand firmly and places it on his heart. I feel like I have no other reason for existing. The sparks I feel when he touches me is even greater than when Rider would.
" Listen to me when I tell you this" He says close to my ear as he growls. Okay can someone just bring me an extra set of nickers please? Mine has gotten a little um.. damp. " you're my fucking mate whether you like it or not. You are my person to love , to hold , to kiss" he stops and places a kiss right under my ear. " to fuck and to please. Like it or not I won't stop until you are mine and I'll kill anyone who comes in my way. It's in your best interest not to provoke me. This will not be the last you see of me" He says. " admit it , you want me. I smell your arousal you can't deny me" he says and I shake my head.
" I will never want you! I'm meant to be alone" I growl back but I did want him. I wanted him so bad my insides hurt and my girlhood trembled ( get it ? 😂 ).
" you're going to beg for me to be between your legs one day and when you do , don't worry baby I won't stop" he smirks and walks out , saying nothing else and I feel my legs give out. Thank god he left when he did because I didn't know how much longer I could last and not one more second apparently. I think I'm just going to um... sit here and take a moment to think about what the fuck is happening in my life
