*Lily's POV*

I shifted into my wolf mid run, I don't care about the clothes I just want to get away from everyone. Mason lied, he just wants me to stay there so he can hurt me just like everyone else. I easily dodged the trees as I ran at an unnatural speed through the forest. My ears pricked up at the sound of paws chasing me. I pushed myself further and made my wolf run faster. But she was no match for the wolf chasing her. The big wolf leapt on top of me and sent me crashing to the floor with the wolf still holding me down. I could feel tingles erupt around my body and I knew instantly that Mason was on top of me. He bared his teeth and growled loudly in my ear. I whimpered and nestled my head between my paws. When Mason was satisfied with my submission he stood and walked in front of me. I didn't dare move. Mason barked in disapproval when I kept my body laying on the ground and my eyes closed. However my eyes snapped open when Mason nudged my neck with his big head, I still didn't move. Mason whined and laid down beside me, his tongue caressing my fur in attempt to get me to look at him.

When I still refused to move Mason stood up and walked behind one of the big oak trees, when he returned he was in human form and wearing black basketball shorts that hung low on his hips. Mason took a step forward and I immediately cowered back.

"Hey, it's ok. I won't hurt you, I promise." Cautiously Mason took another step forward and when I didn't move, he walked quickly over to me.

"Is it ok if I sit next to you Lily? If not I can sit away." I huffed and raised my head, as if to say 'ok...' A look of relief flooded his face as he sat next to my wolf and started absentmindedly pet my pristine white fur. After about an hour Mason put a piece of fabric in front out of my nose.

"Please shift, we need to talk." I cautiously rose onto my paws and picked up the fabric in my mouth and walked behind the same oak tree that Mason did earlier. I shifted and pulled the black T-Shirt over my head and felt exposed when it only reached my mid thigh.

I cautiously walked out from behind the tree and Mason's head immediately snapped around to meet me. Something twinkled in his eyes but it was gone as quickly as it had appeared. Mason rose from the ground and wiped his hands on give back of his shorts. He started to walk closer to me and when he was just in front of me I bowed my head.

"You don't need to bow to me Lily."

"It is rude to for a pack member to stare into the Alphas eyes, and it is deemed disrespectful for an Omega to look at the face of an Alpha sir." I replied back respectfully. A growl rippled through Mason's chest and I cowered to the floor in fear. I heard a sigh from above me and when I slowly opened my eyes Mason's piercing blue ones stared back at me.

"I won't hurt you Lily, I promise. No one here will hurt you ok? I'm your mate and I will protect you with my life. Now come on, you must be freezing."
