~Melody's POV~

I groaned as I regained conciseness "morning" that oh so trusting voice smiled while chucking me a bottle of blood, I grabbed it with ease and chugged it down "can I go now?" I scowled "we've got work to do" she smiled "Lexi, please" I begged trying to make my eyes plead "not going to work spud" she laughed as she walked over to the vervain and put a glove on so she didn't burn her own skin "now, let's see" she smiled as she ran the vervain down my cheek causing me to scream in pain "you ready to flip it?" Lexi smiled "never" I spat angrily "Stefan" she yelled causing my eyes to go wide "Stef" I breathed when he walked into the cellar with Matt "hey Melly" he smiled sadly "let me go" I begged "I know what you're going through, I've been through it, hell even Elena so I know how to do it Melly, and I'm really sorry" he spoke sadly before breaking Matt's neck with ease causing all emotions to come back all at once as I ran to reach Matt's dead body, I cried into his neck "Matty, no" I spoke sadly as I cried continuously "this is my fault, I shouldn't have left, I should have protected you, Matt. I love you" I cried "Mel" Stefan sighed as he knelt down to my level "get away, you did this" I screamed in his face "Mel, don't be stupid, he's wearing the ring" Stefan sighed causing a weight to lift of my chest "oh god" I sighed happily as I held his hand examining the ring "I should have know, you did the same to Elena" I laughed easily glad that I have my emotions off, everything felt weird.

"We're home" Elena giggled, gosh I've missed her so much "In here" Stefan called while smiling at me as we both stood. I looked up, my eyes met Elena's then Damon's then their entwined hands, a wave of sadness came over me "couldn't have waited a year" I laughed emptily "Mels" Damon sighed letting go of Elena's hand "don't" I cried "I should have known" I sighed at my own stupidity. Obviously he would move on, I was a heartless vampire and Elena's just perfect "Stefan" I looked up to him, his green eyes meeting mine "take me to bed?" I asked sadly, wanting to go sleep but not wanting to be alone "sure" he smiled sadly "Mel... I-I-" Elena stuttered "just don't" I shook my head "at least Stefan tried to save me" I sighed in sadness. We reached the top of the stairs and a sudden wave of curiosity came over me "did you even miss me?" I looked down the stairs at the two slumped figures "yes" they both nodded full of confidence "then why didn't you try" I asked before following Stefan's lead into his room where I finally broke down.
