"You..." I smile accusingly, "me..." he laughed as we just stood looking at each other with wide smiles, I could feel everyone staring at us.
"I wanted to get things back to how they use to be" he smiled as he reached down and held my hand, rubbing his thumb gently on the back of my hand sending little sparks of electricity through my body causing butterflies to fill my stomach, "does this have anything to do with that conversation we had?" I smirked as I squeezed his hand softly ending it with a small chuckle, "maybe" he laughed as he looked down at our hands then back up to my face, causing me to shy away from his gaze slightly which only made him softly move my face back to look at him, "don't do that" he smiled as he stroked my cheek adding to the electricity running through my body.
I sighed before letting go of his hand and stepping back making the small gap between us bigger causing him and everyone else to send me confused looks, "we agreed Stef, this can't happen. Not until everything's better. Not until I'm better, there is too many emotions in the way" I sighed shaking my head and running and hand over my head. "Mels, I know, I know we agreed but do you know how hard it is to keep my distance from you? To keep myself from kissing you? It's so difficult, You mean so much to me, you always have, I just never realized how much until you was gone. I'm going to help you control it, I will. I promise, you're already half way there and I can help you but I can't stand you trying to prevent my feelings for you, I'm falling for you and I don't care" Stefan spoke up but before I could reply his lips crashed into mine in a powerful kiss full of passion causing every part of my body to go out of control.
I pulled away causing my eyes to flutter open to see Stefan's brightly lit face with a huge smile, causing me to laugh slightly, "you can't tell me you didn't feel that" he smiled as he held my hand once again. I looked down to our hands then up to his face catching a glance of his plump lips, I smiled before reaching up and kissing him lightly "I did." I said simply against his lips before we went and sat with the others.
"Looks like there has been a Twist of Fate" Damon smiled to us as he held Elena's hand, "seem's so" I smiled in return.
