"Mariana? MARIana... Where are you?" my mother yelled. I knew she was calling me but I didn't care. She's going to find me evuentally. "Ugh there you are! Come on in, lunch is almost ready and we need to tell ou something" she said from the patio. So I walked up the wood stairs to our patio looking down at my red and white polka-dot flip flops all the way until i got to the door. I could smell the rich creamy smell of grilled cheese and chocolate milk. When we sat down my parents both had stern looks on their faces. They looked at eachother with facial expressions that seem to say. You tell her... no you tell her. Finally my dad spoke, "Mariana, since you recently turned 14 your mother and I think that you should not depend on us this much" he said with a solemn face. "We have decided to rent out an apartment for you to live in on you own this summer."
