Reunion

"Get away from me!" I begged as the man got closer to me...he was mere inches away from my face with a knife clutched into his hand

"P-please let me go!" I begged once more tears streaming down my cheeks..he caressed my wet cheeks whispering my name and that everything will be fine and that I don't have to worry...he continued caressing my cheeks as he pulls the knife closer to my chest

"P-pl-please don't do thi-" I tried to beg but it was too late he plunged the knife into my chest piercing my heart..I bolted up from my bed screaming and trashing around the room trying to catch my breath

"shh...it's OK Alice calm down...it was just a bad dream...shh it's OK" Mark said trying to comfort me taking me into his arms..I nuzzled my face more into his embrace feeling his body warmth radiating and feeling his warm breathe on my neck

"S-somebody was k-killing me!" I sobbed "somebody plunged a knife into my chest and pierced my heart!" I continued

"Shh..it's OK I'm here now..listen hey Alice look at me" he took his hands and placed it on both sides of my face forcing me to look at him "Listen i'm not going to let anyone or anything hurt you OK" he racked my body back and forth whispering comforting words into my ear

"But it felt so real...like the knife was really being plunged into chest.."

"Shh..it's OK now....it was just a nightmare...now let's go downstairs and get you something to calm down don't we?" he asked holding my hand pulling me out of bed but I refused so he carried me into his arms down the stairs and carefully set me down into the living room couch pecking my cheek as he walked toward the fridge...as he closed the door with plates occupying his hands I saw a man behind him with a knife in his hand

"Mark behind you!" but before he could turn around the man plunged the knife into the nape of Mark's neck piercing his throat and sending blood to gush out everywhere

"NO!!" I cried..the attacker stepped past him and looked at me in the eye

"I've been looking for you for ages! where the hell have you been!?" the man with a monstrous smile on his face asked leaning closer to me and extending his hand for me
