"We're here!" Jason announced as the car came to a sudden stop
"We're where exactly!?" I asked looking outside the car
"In the middle of nowhere!" he said snickering
"Well, uhm yeah that's obvious but what are we doing here?" I asked again raising one eyebrow
"You'll see come on!" he answered as he opened the door for me grabbing my hand and dragging me with him outside and for a summer night it sure is chilly. As we entered the woods I saw a clearing not far away from we were
"Are we going there?" I asked pointing out the clearance
"Not exactly" he said facing me
"Then where and why?"
"A magical place because I want to show you something" he replied holding his hand out for me "hold my hand"
"Uhm ok?" as I held his hand in mine lights started to flutter up from our feet "Ja-Jason what's happening!?" I asked panicking but he didn't answer instead I saw him close his eyes and motioned for me to do the same thing but I shrugged my head not wanting to miss anything
"Suit yourself" was the last hing he said until the light completely enveloped us together, it was blinding, I tried not to shut my eyes but it was painful so I was left with no choice, I closed them as tight as I could and hoped that it would be over soon
"You can open now" Jason announced loud and clear, as I opened my eyes I stood there in awe
"Ya' like what ya' see?" he asked elbowing me I coudn't utter I word so I just nodded my head in reply the place was wonderful the stars were around us it was even underneath us "Come on I want to show you something" he said
"Wait where are we?" I asked
"We're in a wish granting factory" he answered giving me a mischievous smile, but I just looked at him like he was crazy "No seriously I'm not kidding!" he said pouting "This is the middle"
"What the heck is the middle!?"
"The land where souls cross"
"You mean we're dead!?"
"Phhhfftt! calm down we're not dead"
"Then what the hell are WE!?"
"We're shadow crawlers. NOW! no more questions I told you I want to show you something" he said grabbing my hand and dragging me to somewhere "We're here!" he announced pointing at a gazebo that popped out of nowhere
"Oh and I forgot to tell you, you can also manifest things that you desire in here like this" he held out his hands and focused on them not a second later tiny hamster appeared out of thin air
"Ho-how did you do that?"
"I manifested it I thought if it and created it, now you can do anything the same thing if you want to, the size doesn't matter as long as you can see it in your mind you'll be able to manifest it. But! you can't bring it to the other side and by the other side I mean the world of the living understand?"
"Ye-yeah" I said still trying to understand what's happening right before my eyes
"Now let's go home, I'm pretty sure Mark is very worried" and before I can answer I was in front of my front door "I'll see you tomorrow Alice bye" Jason said surprising me by pecking on my cheeks
"O-OK" I said as I looked for my keys and entered it into the slot but the door was already opened and emerging from the dark was Mark with a worried look on his face but was quickly replaced with his sermon face 'Oh boy here we go' I thought to myself
