"No! will you FUCKING SHUT UP!! I told you she's not ready yet!"
"Don't tell me to shut up woman! you are not the boss of me!! and she's 17!! and she's living with this dumbass over here!" unfamiliar muffled voices over around me
"WILL BOTH OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!?" Mark's voice boomed into the room
"Ma-Mark?" I asked reaching my hand out
"I'm right here..." he answered enveloping my hands with his and removing the blindfold that I had on..my eyes needed time to adjust so I started squinting...I saw Mark looking at me with those gorgeous emerald eyes of his and two other silhouettes in the corner of the room
"Who-who are those people?" I asked pointing at the two silhouettes descending from the dark..one male and female...they both looked young probably the same age as Mark and I...the girl had pale white skin, black raven hair reaching her shoulder, black perfect lips, and her eyes...her eyes were-they were pure black...the boy also had the same appearance...he was just a little bit more disturbing...instead of solid black eyes he had white orbs and a dilated pupil, and it seemed like he has no eyelids because he wasn't blinking, and a smile...a wide smile that was slit across his face reaching ear to ear
"They're uhm...they're you parents Alice.." he spoke slowly and calmly caressing my hand with his thumbs
"M-My parents!? but they abandoned me17 FUCKING years ago!! and this people!-or creatures!-or whatever they are demons if you will! there like the same age as us!! this is completely illogical!!"
"See I told you she's ready! she needs the explanation Jane it's your turn!" the boy announced loudly with a smug look on his face
"Gee Jeff thanks for the cue! in case you didn't know your her dad!" the girl retorted
"There you two go again! will you stop! just explain everything to her!!" Mark yelled cutting their argument short
"Well" Jane started "As you heard from your Mark we're your parents and Jeff anything you might want to add?" she concluded
"Huh!? ohh..and uhm-uhm first you're in danger and we're here to protect you, train you and fulfill the prophecy and blah blah blah any questions little girl?"
"Hell yes I have a question! actually I have more than three!" I said furiously trying to sit up but Mark kept me down
"Oh Greeeaatt! here we go! questions..how fun!" Jeff retorted sarcastically
