okay so,,, this is the last drabble of the prompt challenge. my original idea got scrapped because of a lack of motivation, but i figured this (which is sort of a combination of all my favorite drabbles) would do.

as of right now, i'm planning on doing a few part twos to a few drabbles (temptation and plastic specifically), so keep this book around. i'm planning on posting them all within a week.

lastly, i'd like to thank everyone for all the votes and kind words, it honestly means so much to me. and without further ado, here's the last one.

Mitch's eyes shot open as he felt the body next to him left the bed. In his slightly panicked state, he sat up and reached for hand that was attached to the body. He felt a bit of comfort when their fingers collided, and a bit more when the blonde turned around and let his blue eyes fall on Mitch.

"Don't go yet."

"I won't leave, babe," Scott replied. "Not yet." He squeezed Mitch's hand before dropping it.

"What are you doing then?" Scott picked up a pair of boxers off the floor and put them on before looking back at the brunette.

"Why are you worrying?" Mitch raised an eyebrow at the question, but Scott just continued on. "I have a gift for you." He turned on his heels once more, then headed towards his backpack in the corner of the room.

"Another one?" Mitch asked as Scott dug around in his bag.

"Well, the whole you seducing me thing wasn't originally part of the plan." Mitch smirked at the comment as Scott finally retrieved the item. Mitch eyed the little black box cautiously, and his eyes stayed on it even when Scott sat in front of him on the bed.

"I know you aren't happy about me leaving for--"

"But I know its for the best." Scott opened his mouth to speak, but all he ended up doing was leaning forward and kissing Mitch.

"Remember the dog tags you gave me last year?" Scott asked when he finally managed to pull away.

"Yeah. Of course."

"I wanted to do something similar for you." Scott glanced down at the box before holding it out to Mitch. He reluctantly took it, and after a moment of staring, flipped open the top.

Sitting neatly in the box was a silver chain. It was thin and appeared to be rather light. However, that's not what Mitch's eyes caught. The chain was running through a perfect golden band. It was plain, but just wide enough to draw attention to it.

"You like it?" Mitch nodded his head. "You can take the ring off at any point. If you don't want it on the chain, it should be your size and--"

"No," Mitch finally said, looking back up to the blonde. "No. I love it, Scott." He kicked the covers off of the lower half of his body before climbing onto Scott's lap. He wrapped his arms around Scott's neck, then melted into Scott's touch as his arms went around his waist.

"Want it on?" Scott asked quietly moments later, not wanting to ruin the moment. Mitch quickly pulled back and nodded his head again.

"Please?" Scott took the box back out of Mitch's hands, then carefully took the necklace out of it. He lifted it up in the air, then gently slipped it over Mitch's head. He slowly lowered it to the boy's chest, and they both watched as it settled on the bare skin there. Scott didn't notice the tears falling down Mitch's cheeks until he looked back up to him. Scott immediately began to brush them away as he tilted Mitch's head back up.

"No more crying, okay? There'll be plenty of that tomorrow." Another nod. Mitch glanced down at the chain and ring one more time before laying back down on the bed.

"Cuddle me?"

"Anything for you."
