You woke up, the beam of light from the crack in the curtains causing you to roll over and fall off your bed. You still hadn't fixed that habit, and you smiled weakly as you sat up, reminiscing back to the first evening you spent with Jimin. It had been a good few years since you moved to England, but you still thought of the boy. You were beginning to forget his face, but you would never forget his name.

You hoped he was happy and with someone else now, doing something with his life. The English boy? Yeah, you broke it off with him and haven't been in a "relationship" of sorts since.

You made yourself some coffee and the memories of that morning kept coming back to you.

It was only when you saw water droplets mix with your coffee did you realise you were crying. You roughly wiped the tears away with the back of your hand, and as you sat up straight, you breathed deeply. You blinked too frequently to keep more tears coming out. You had to go to work soon, which was going well. You became a director of a department and were highly respected by everyone. You wondered how Jimin was getting on, and as if it was a message from some greater power, you immediately knew he was doing ok. You smiled as you strided through your hallway in high heels and opened the door facing another day.

You know you are never going to forget the bold barista and his red hair, or his eye smile which was, admittedly, getting blurry. You won't forget his selflessness, even when he told you to grab your dreams and leave him behind. You would never forget the way he held himself, and how his small hands held yours, squeezing them when you felt nervous. You would never forget his kisses, the way his body felt on yours. You would never forget the bright beams of sunshine he radiated into your otherwise dull life. And you would never forget your ex boyfriend, friend and boss for causing you two to meet on that fateful day, and spend what you knew were the best nine months of your life with him. But this was all just a bright memory now, but a bright memory you will never forget.

Thank you, Park Jimin. For the memories, but most importantly, for being you, and being you with me.
