You were in utter shock at what he had it's said.
"She's my girlfriend."
The words still rang in your ears.

Oh well. Now you have to play along.

"Oh." Was all Jin could say, his expression reflecting how you felt.
"So..." Jimin said, trying to get rid of the stunned silence that hung in the air, "can she get the job?"
"How can I say no?" Jin replied. "If she's your girlfriend I'm sure she's lovely and hardworking and she's pretty cute too..." he mumbled the last part but the whole room knew you heard.
"Ahhhhh, you see Miss (Y/n), you have to look good to work here. Your now manager is worldwide handsome and his employees must look the part as well. Why else do you think Chim got the job? Hmm?" He asked you, but it was clearly directed at Jimin who was suddenly interested in the wall, not wanting to meet either yours or Jin's eyes.
"Welcome (Y/n). You've got the job."

You and Jimin thank Jin and Jimin softly closes the door behind him before turning to see a very flustered you.
"Girlfriend? Wha- why-" you blabbed, not even being able to form a sentence.
"Well what is our relationship then? We shared our first kiss and I bought you lunch. Did you not get the idea? Especially after my confession?"
You gave him a confused look.
"Don't play dumb with me (Y/n). I like you. So I said we were dating a) because I like you, romantically and b) it would be more convincing." He said as you two walked out of the shop, not needing Jin to overhear your conversation. You stopped and watch him turn round his dark eyes meeting yours.
"But we're not dating." You said bluntly and he gave you a cheeky smirk, his eyes containing a hint of lust.
"Not yet, (Y/n). Not. Yet."

"So, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, all cheekiness and lust removed from his face and replaced with a sweet look, sincerity in his eyes.
"No."

"I'm just kidding, yes of course I will." You said giggling, making sure to tell him the truth before the heart brake began to show in his eyes.
"Aish, you're such a tease." He said with a grin, lightly punching your arm.

"That's one of the things I like about you."
