The next morning when I woke up, Rosalie was already up and had made breakfast.
"Well good morning lazy." She laughed at me "I made breakfast but I couldn't wait for you to get up so I already ate." She said
I looked around the kitchen and saw there was all kinds of food. Pancakes, eggs, fruit, and biscuits.
"Woah Rose, you like to cook huh?" I smiled
"I love to!" She smiled back, "Have you called him yet?" She asked curiously.
"No, actually I'll do that now, before I chicken out." I shrugged.
I went to my contacts and found the name 'Jake:)' and hit call. It rang twice before he picked up.
"Oh my god Caroline thank god!" He exclaimed
"Hey Jake." I said in return
"I'm so sorry the only reason I didn't tell her was because her boyfriend had just left her and she was becoming suicidal and I thought that it might send her over the edge. Her boyfriend is a vampire and the have a thing called a mate which is the equivalent of our imprints and she was feeling that pressure of that weighing on her I'm so sorry I love you." He said all in one breath afraid I might hang up during his apology.
"I'm not sure weather to dwell on the fact that you just said you loved me because I love you too, or on the fact that you just told me her boyfriend is a vampire while I'm standing here in his house with his sister.." I said shocked but not scared
"What!" He almost yelled into the phone "get out of there I'm on my way." He said
"No no no, I'm okay. Rosalie is really sweet and she's been there for me all the past day and a half. I'll come home in an hour or so. Please don't worry. I'm fine. I forgive you. I love you." I said
"Are you su-" he started
"Yes I'm sure. She won't hurt me." I said back "trust me, I spent the night over here!" I laughed
He sighed clearly upset with this but not wanting to start an argument over me being able to take care of myself "alright. I love you, be careful." He said and hung up the phone.
"ROSALIE." I shouted
"You realize now that I have super hearing right?"
