What they say is true, life isn't fair. It really isn't. What I don't understand is why my mom and dad are both on board with moving 2,253 miles away from where I grew up all because mom got a job offer. Why in the middle of my Junior year? I thought I had done everything right. Good grades, good friends that don't party, I was on track to being valedictorian. Not that I can't do that in Washington. Then again, maybe this could be a good thing. I would get to see my grandparents again, and my cousin Sam... I do miss him. He's getting married soon and I still haven't met his fiancé. There were upsides. I can stay positive about this. I will thrive.
