I was staring at him

Fifteen minutes passed and the sky started to gather angry grey clouds. Out of the corner of my left eye i could see a man, dressed in a black tracksuit, walking over to me. He was a shady character. Hands in his pockets and hood up. I felt my pulse quicken a bit and my hands started to sweat. He got closer. So close that i could smell his Lynx aftershave. I could see him fidjitting with something in his pocket. He stepped a bit closer. Now we were eye to eye. I felt as if my heart woukd burst out of my chest any second now. His aftershave overwhelmed my senses. There we were, staring at each other. His face slowly changed into the dark barrel of a 9mm gun. I swalloed and a lump formed in my throat. This is it i thought. I would never see Kensi again. I braced myself. I tried not to scream and run away. I just stood there, frozen with fear. Suddenly, the desperate screams of Kensi sliced the building tension. I turned my head to look at her. She had come to rescue me! I opened my mouth to scream her name but the sound of a gun firing silenced the harbor. Everything went black. I could hear Kensi screaming for me but i could not move. He had shot me.
