The event was a ball, dinner party thing that all the big people were here. I was wearing a black dress that came down to cover all my legs, it was a long dress. It had a slit up the side so I could walk and my thigh flashed. It was a boob tube and it suited my curves. I was wearing red shoes that tied at a little above my ankle and had a platform of two inches. “It was really nice to see you.” I said kissing small women called Mary. She smiled and walked away, Kevin had told me to meet him here, yet he wasn’t here. I didn’t understand why.
“Kami?!” I heard a whispered voice; I looked over to see Riley and Dante. My eyes went wide and nearly popped out of my head. I quickly got a smile on my face and walked over to them where Riley pulled me to the side. “What the hell are you doing here?” She asked me, her eyes searching the room.
“We got invited.” I said to him, keeping an eye out for Kevin.
“By us, you mean you and Kevin?” Dante asked me, I nodded slowly. “Where is he?” He asked me then, I shook my head then I realised.
“He knows youre here. He’s planning…” I trailed off. “You need to get out. All of your supes need to get out.” I said looking around I saw Christian, Luc and Jamie, Jack and a few agenets thrown around.
“Get out now!” I said in a rush. Before it was too late; about fifteen people came and they were all Black circle agents.
“Too Late” She mumbled.
“So I see I finally meet the St. Marcs.” I heard Kevin’s voice rumble. Christian, Dante, Luc and Gabriel all made their way to stand next to each other. Wait, when did Gabriel get here? My eyes searched the room, was he here?
“He’s running late.” Riley mumbled. Each man stood infront of their women. Jack was standing at the end. Kevin’s eyes flashed when he saw Jack but he didn’t say anything.
“Kevin.” Christian’s voice said strongly. Kevin smirked.
“Kami, dear will you please come out from behind the blood suckers.” Kevin said; I pushed my way through; slowly. Everyone’s eyes were on me.
“Kevin darling, why didn’t you tell me about this?” I said, sending my eyes to the right in gesture to the St. Marcs and Jack. He wrapped an arm around me and pulled me tightly to his side.
“It was a spur of the moment attack dear.” He answered then his attention went to the St. Marcs.
“Is it a really good idea with all these innocents here?” Jack said to Kevin. Stepping forward and Kevin’s eyes went to him.
“Whats a few more innocents in this battle aye Jack” Kevin said there was something there. A past that I don’t know, Christian clearly caught that aswell but he didn’t ask. It really wasn’t the right time.
“What do you want?” Riley asked, pushing through Dante much to his dislike. Kevin stared at her with interest.
“Who are you?” He asked, with a weird tone. “Aren’t you a pretty thing?” He mumbled; my eyes narrowed with confusion. He never usually was attracted like this to someone.
“Does it really matter who I am? You’re going to attempt to kill me either way.” She said with a shrug, I smirked slightly at this.
“I like you already.” He said, and then ignored her. Dante pulled her to his side. “I see you’ve gone with a blood sucker.”
“What can I say? Once you go dead, you never go back.” Riley said to him, Kevin’s lips tipped. Dante squeezed her hand with pride.
“I want one of you, to come home with me.” He said simply. My eyes went wide, why would he want that?
“Why would we come with you willingly?” Christian asked.
“Because I’ll kill her” In came Ian with Kasey with a knife to her throat. My eyes went wide and I pulled away slightly.
“Kevin, she’s a young girl.” I pointed out, Kevin shrugged at this.
“I want one of you St. Marcs in exchange for her.” Kevin said simply.
“I’ll go.” My heart froze. Logan had offered. Christian eyes went to Logan who was walking through the side doors.
“I don’t really care. I want one of you.”
“Give her back; NOW!” Riley’s voice shouted. She stepped forward and I knew she was going to use her powers; I had to bite my tongue. I walked softly over to Kasey and just walked around her in a way that didn’t look suscipious.
“What do you say?” Kevin asked. None of them answered suddenly a fight had broken out. Ian pulled Kasey to the side. Christian was fighting Kevin who was simply blocking the moods. Riley was working her away over to Kasey. Logan was fighting some women, who I didn’t even realise was Black circle. They were all busy.
“Ow!” I heard Ian shout, Kasey had kneeed him where the sun doesn’t shine.
“KAMI STOP HER” Kevin shouted at me. Kasey’s eyes went wide and she shook her head. Taking a deep breath, I threw a fire ball at her. It was a mild one and she managed to stop it.
“What are you doing?!” Riley shouted before she could stop herself. Kasey was looking at me with confusion and I nodded slightly. We needed to do this. Kasey closed her eyes for a second and suddenly a big wave was coming my way, I managed to block it with fire. I then noticed Kasey’s eyes on Riley. This guy was choking her, Kasey ignored me and let water come from her fingers and she literally pushed him of using her power. The guy flew into the wall. I couldn’t help but laugh. I was about to make a move when some guy attacked Kasey, I glared slightly and threw a small fire ball. “Kevin needs help.” I shouted at him, he looked over to Kevin and ran.
I searched the room; I saw Logan was fighting Ian. Ian as silent as he was, he was crazy. Before I realised I sent fire over to them and burnt Ian, pushing him away making him fall on his back and pass out. Logan’s eyes went over to me but I looked away quickly. It was a stupid thing to do. Kasey suddenly threw water at me and I had to set a fire wall around me which worked, well just. I needed to get Kasey to make the move, she needed to burn my, well wash my power out. It was only for a few days. I noticed Cole was here, I swallowed and I aimed a ball over to him. Kasey’s eyes went black at this. Water suddenly hit me and I felt myself was drowning, I fell to my knees and my hands went to my throat.
“GET OUT OF HERE NOW.” Kevin shouted. I don’t know what happened; I was trying to stop myself from dying. I tried to cough it up, it wouldn’t work.
“Stop it Kasey. Baby please.”
“KASEY. YOURE GOING TO KILL HER” Another voice said.
My body felt wet, insides and out. I felt water everywhere, it was everywhere in me.
It was consuming me.
