Jasmine races back over to my side and grabs the dress we decided on. She lays the two dresses down on a sofa off on the wall between our closets and I study them as she sorts through the vanities.
They were empire styled dresses, but mine a dark red one with laced long sleeves and hers a bright gold with no sleeves."Let's get some sleep now that everything has been decided. Leave the rest to me." She says and we put the dresses back in our closets before locking up the room.
I walk into my room seeing Kit was nowhere in sight. How long does it take guys to find an outfit.
"Oh well." I sigh and sit down on my bed noticing the book from earlier on what the dark magical creatures looked like.I place it on my desk and flick my index finger towards the candle resting near the edge, my nail turning into a little flame lighting it.
Satisfyed with the decent lighting I close the doors and curtains that lead to the balcony and head back to my desk.Looking at the book I sigh and open it, carefully looking through each page knowing how old it is.
So there's calvary darks, skeletons in knight armor riding horses made of shadows. That's going to be fun to deal with.I flip to the next page and scan it. Archers, so even more skeletons but these guys have black leather armor and arrows covered in poison.
After looking through some other darks, warriors, wolves, and rogues I see that last one which is the strongest of them all. Right above the calvary.
When I look at the sketch my heart drops with dread.
Necromancers, the other students say they've never ran across them before. Some from the far past have dealt with them on theirs so there is still a chance we could see one."Hey it's pretty late. Considering tomorrow is the big social and partner battles I suggest you get some sleep." Kit says, standing in the doorway.
"Uh yeah- sure." I close the book and toss it to him, "Might wanna study the darks, so you don't ask me any questions in the middle of any fights we have with them." I smirk and he glares at me.
"Anyway, I'm out. Use my candle if you need to because I'm too lazy to light another." I say hopping into my bed throwing the covers over my head.
"Whatever drama queen." He says and I can just sense he rolled his eyes.
"Kit Grove if you think I'm the dramatic one grab yourself a mirror. I know you have several lying around here so you can just admire yourself whenever you want." I say while throwing the covers off and looking up at the ceiling, laughing.
"Really? Someone's getting a little fired up. Need to cool off?" He challenges me, forming a ball of water in his hands and tossing it back and forth.
"Try me. I've gotten more tolerable to water so I can't burn unless I'm in it for longer then 30 minutes." I say daring him.
"Well good for you. I guess you're right I won't bother. Also, it'd be great if you could somehow learn your Legendary form before the battles. You know we're up against Lukas and his Legendary form can easily demolish mine.
"His lightning class power has always overpowered us, and I know fire class students most of the time never learn the Legendary form because it could overpower them but I think you can do it, you are one of the top students on campus." He says, and I groan.Legendary form, as if. You practically turn into some creature based off your class and there's only one way to tell it's you; your eyes. I'll try my best, but for the meantime I'll make a strategy with the powers I have in my normal form.
"Kit it's not as simple as that. All of us fire class students have accepted the fact that we are always going to be in normal form, which is why we control our powers better then any other class. Good night." I throw the covers back over my head and try to fall asleep, but I can't.
Is this social really worth going to? Then again Amity, everyone is expecting you to go. For tomorrow I will most likely go against Lukas since Kit would just get shocked over and over, and he can fight his partner Dianna. She may seem terrifying in person but on the field her nature power will be about an even fight with Kit.
I soon fall asleep to the sound of Kit flipping through pages and reading the descriptions to himself.
