Dandelions (NaLu, Short Story)

Chapter 3

Natsu silently closed his bedroom door as he ruffled is hair with his hand. He look at himself in a mirror, he sighed and blushed at the memory of what had happened a little before. Natsu sat down on his bed, he looked at his phone and thought.

What does this really mean for them? Are they a couple now?

Many thoughts raged through Natsu mind until he decided to text Lucy.

Natsu: Hey..

Lucy: hey.. so about tonight..

Natsu: what about it?

Lucy: what does this mean for us?

Natsu: I was hoping you would know

Lucy: How would I know? You kissed me.

Natsu stared at his phone then drooped his head down not realizing that he should be the one to know what to do.

Natsu: Do you want to try and be a couple?

Natsu quickly rethought about the text and thought maybe he shouldn't have asked that, he didn't want to rush things with Lucy.

Lucy: yeah, let's give it a shot. I have to go off to bed now, see ya at school! Night 😘

Natsu: Night

Natsu quickly blushed. "She had to use that emoji.."

Natsu ran out of his front door to his house as he waved back to his mother. "I'll see you later mom!" Natsu continued down the side walk path towards Lucy's house. "Shit I'm gonna be late!" Natsu hurried on his way.

Natsu ran up Lucy's drive way. Natsu bent down with his hands in his knees as he tried to catch his breath. "What happened to you?" Natsu looked up and saw Lucy ready to go. "I was a little late this morning.." Natsu panted.

Lucy walked up and fixed his hair and his school uniform. "Obviously, you barely dressed yourself properly." Natsus cheeks tinted with pink as Lucy brushed passed him, "come on let's go!"
