Dandelions (NaLu, Short Story)

Chapter 7

Natsu stayed the night with Lucy and never left her side. He stayed awake until Lucy silently went asleep. Natsu stroked Lucys tear stained cheek as she peacefully snoozed, and then too did Natsu join the peaceful sleep.

Natsu opens his eyes as he hears Lucy silently weeping underneath him. He glances over and sees she on her phone, the bullying has spread to social media and people were texting her various things like slut, whore, hooker, ect. Natsu took her phone from her hand, tossed it off to the side, and smothered her in kisses and hugs. "They don't know you, they don't know what happened." Natsu whispered into Lucy's ear, she continued to sob.

"How about you skip school ok? I'll let the others know ok?" Lucy promptly nodded and snuggled closer to Natsu as he caressed her head. Natsu took out his phone and told the others about Lucy not going to school. In return, they told Natsu about the rumors and how they are getting worse. Natsu gets worried and needs to stop the rumors before something  horrible happens.

It has been two weeks and the rumors continue to persist. Natsu's suspension ended and he came back to school. But as he arrived every day, Lucy would not be there. She hasn't come to school in over a week and everyone is getting worried. She texts her friends and tells the, shes not but they still think something is wrong and Lucy wont tell them.

Natsu paces to class, hoping to speed up the day faster so he can go and check on Lucy. Natsu sat at the back of the class to avoid whispering and dumb glances from the other students. The professor entered the classroom and class began.

Natsu left class and went off to lunch with his friends. "Have any of you heard from Lucy?" Natsu asked as he sat down at the lunch table with his tray of food. "No, none of us have." Levy murmured as they silently ate their lunch. The table remained silent the entire hour. As lunch ended they parted ways and went to their classes. Natsu entered his own, did his normal hiding, and took notes.

School had finally ended and Natsu quickly grabbed his stuff from his locker and ran out of the building, ignoring the calls from his friends. Natsu stopped right outside ofr the school gates and checked his phone. There was a text from Lucy.

I'm sorry Natsu.. I cant do this anymore.. I Love You...

Natsu ran. He ran so fast he couldn't feel his legs move. Tears threatened. He cried. "Lucy!" He shouted as he neared her front door. He burst through the front door. Her parents aren't home. "Lucy!" Natsu shouted once more. He neared her room. She's not there either.

Natsu faced the bathroom door. It was locked. He banged his fist against the door. "Lucy!" He yelled for her until he finally broke it open.

Lucy lay on the floor. Her body lifeless and pale. Natsu fell onto his knees and cradled her body. He glanced over at the empty bottle of pills.

I pull you in to feel your heart beat, can you hear me screaming please don't leave me..

Hey guys! Its been a while. Well I'm gonna try to finish this story in the next few days so stayed tuned. 

Also ive been awake for more than 30 hours. My life took an entire 180 turn and its taking its toll. I'm ok tho things are getting resolved. Anyway have a good day!
