Nothing stays the same...Not all things change...But when those memories fade...no one came...
'How come this feels like an eternity? I should be home by now.' I thought as I groan.
"Jessica hush!" The teacher yelled, scolding me. I straighten my back in surprised and slouch in embarrassment. We were readng a book called The Mocking Bird, which I have already, and regrettably, read. I already knew what was gonna happend, and I was happy that I could answer the questions easily. But hearing someone else read a paragraph ever so slowy like a koala, I rather work at my part time job with a shitty boss than this.
After 3 or 5 pages, the legendary soud came on the speaker. "Wahoo! Yes!" I shouted happily as I stand up and stuff my book inside my backpack and ran out. I dramaticly held out my arms to the sides and consume the freedom in my lungs. I sigh as I enjoy the sun warmth.
I put my arms down and walked inside the hallways. As usual, the hallways are quickly crowded. I was walking behind a tall man with scruffy long hair that went down to his waist. I scrunch my face in disgust and walked a bit slower so that I wouldn't be to close to him.
'Boi, take a damn shower! Aren't you ashamed? Are you gay or something?' I thought as I desperately tried to not get near him but a girl behind me was walking backwards while talking to her friends. Her backpack was pushing me towards the nasty man.
My right eye twitched as I was kept being pushed forward. I tried going around the non-shower hair guy, but their was too many people on the other side walking the opposite way. The pushes the girl behind me were small but I guess one of her friends showed her something disgusting and got close to her because the girl screamed and push me hard.
I yelped as I tripped on a piece of paper on the floor and went forward towards the guy in front of me. Since he didn't had a backpack with him, I crashed into his sweaty back and his hair. The guy stopped and looked at me and apologized and walked away. The girl behind realized she pushed me by accident and started to apologize. I was rubbing all over my face with my sweater of the sleeves in disgust.
Once I was done I glared at the blonde girl. "What is your problem!?" I shouted at her. Her expression changed into sorrow. "I-I'm sorry! My friends showed me a dead lizard, which it was plastic, and pushed you by accident!"
I huffed irritated, "Yeah? You've been pushing me with your stupid backpack for a while and I didn't want to be rude and tell you to back off." Her sorrow face worsen by the second and made me felt a slight guilt in my gut. I ignore it and made a movement to my hand as a goodbye.
I started to walk out of the now empty hallway, and by the way, highschool has ended. The blonde girl ran in front of me with a some what determined face. I growl to warn her to hurry up. She gulped and took a deep breath. Once her expression calm down she spoke.
"Look, I'm sorry that I didn't realize that I was pushing you. It wasn't my intention to do, so I'm offering to take you out for dinner."
I frown and snickered, "Like a date? Sorry, I'm straight." She jumped in surprise and waved her hands left and right rapidly. "No no no no no! I mean-" I interrupt her with a jolt of laughter. She seemed displease and running out of patience.
