Chapter 4: Don't Get Close?

When the sun comes down, we all be drowned... If you run away, darkness will find its way...So shush your mouth, and stay with me...

I open my eyes from a peaceful dream. I don't remember much but soft colors and a calm piano song in the background. I frown as I saw white in front of me. I looked up and froze, 'Papyrus?' I thought and my cheeks flared up. My nose basically touch below his 'lips' (if he was a human) and I was screaming inside. I noticed his arms was around me sloppily and I move back but he suddenly pulled me back in and tighten our hug/cuddle. I squealed and struggled to get out of his embrace.

I heard a , "...nyeh..." and I completely stop moving and slowy look up. Papyrus was still sleeping and doesn't seem bothered of my struggle. I sigh a shaky hot breath and called out his name. "P-Papyrus? Papyrus, wake up." This only made him pull me closer and his face is rubbing my neck. I felt my face heating up more and I wanted to feel uncomfortable but I was starting to feel weird. I bit my lip and nudge Papyrus, trying to wake him up. "Papy please, wake up!" I whispered shouted because I didn't want to wake up others and walk in on us and misunderstanding our position. "Papyrus!" I gritted my teeth and nudge harder. I heard him waking up and he look up with a confused face. We locked eyes and stared, until he realized where he was and jolted back. "NYEH!?" he yelped as he went back too far and fell off the bed. A loud thump was heard and I rolled on the side of the bed and looked at the blushing marshmallow on the floor. "Papyrus are you ok?!" I asked worriedly. His whole skull was glowing orange and I was scared that his skull was going to melt.

Suddenly the door opens and ran in a small...angry skeleton. His left eye was glowing blue dangerously and he had his right hand up. I flinched when I saw him see Papyrus on the floor and glared at me. "what were you two doin? and why is Papyrus on the floor?" He said in a low deep, scary voice. I hitched and began rambling,  "I-It's not what it looks like! Papyrus g-got scared and he accidentally fell o-off the bed and-" sans interrupt me with a, "what!? you two were sleeping together on the same bed?" He growled. I gulped and nodded lowly. 

             Papyrus was still dazed out because our faces were super close, which leaves me with sans. I started to sweat as he came closer to me. "listen kid, i don't mind you staying here but if you get any ideas of getting close to my Papyrus, i won't hesitate to kick you out." My heart jumped and I shook my head yes, unable to speak cause of fear. Sans huffed and looked at Papyrus and went to his other side and kneel down and shook him calmy. "Papyrus, breakfast is ready. toriel made chocolate pie."

          Papyrus skull dimmed down and he looked like a lost puppy again. I struggled not to awe at him or else I'll get my sorry ass kicked. Papyrus sat up confused as ever and looked at me. His cheeks bones was dusted with orange and he 'cleared his throat'. "Nyeh hehe, toriel made chocolate pie? Well what are we waiting for? Lets go get a slice!" He said and stood up like a captain would. I giggled but I soon stop as I started, when I see sans eye sockets went black. I flinched and look at the ground and stood up. I slowy walked behind Papyrus and I look behind my shoulders,  expecting to see sans but I couldn't find him. "Huh?" I mumbled and look around the room.  He wasn't here and I look in front and look over the fence and saw him sitting in the table with a human next to him. My heart jumped, "How in the world..?" I said, confused and scared on how he was so quick. I look to the stairs to see Papyrus on the last step of the stairs and walking towards the kitchen.

       I quickly went downstairs and sat down next to the human. Papyrus was alone at his side and I didn't have the balls to sit next to him after sans threat. I felt a poke on my shoulder and I look to my right to see the kid smiling at me. I smiled back, "Hi." I said cheerfully. They waved at me as a form of gretting. I ingnore that they didn't say anything and ask their name. They then did something with their hands and I referred it as sign language. I raised an eyebrow and Toriel walked to the table and placed the pie that smelled like Oreos. My mouth watered and Toriel told me that their name was, "Frisk." I nodded and told Frisk, "My name is Jessica but you can call me Jess for short." Frisk nodded and was handed a slice of oreo pie.

    I drool a little and wiped it away. Toriel handed me a piece and I thanked her and grabbed it. I waited for others to get theirs and we all eated at once. I took a bite and I savored the delicious oreo. The crust was amazing too. I smiled and stab my fork to the pie to get another bite, 'Mom use to baked pie too.' The  disturbing thought was in the back of my mind and it crept forward. I suddenly lost my appetite and I slowed down my chewing. Papryus notice my dark atmosphere and planned to cheer me up. "Jess, what do you call a skeleton with a basketball?" Papyrus asked.

         I raised an eyebrow, "What are they called, Papyrus?" Papyrus did his famous "Nyeh" and looked at me straight in the eye and said, "A cool dude!" Suddenly he stood up; the chair almost falling backwards, and threw a smoke bomb on thr ground. "Oh my!" Toriel yelped in awe. Once the smoke cleared, Papryus wasn't in his usual clothes. Instead their was two basketball on his shoulders and a white shirt that says, "Cool dude" printed on it, or was written on it with black pen and he posed like superman.

       Papyrus wiggled his 'eyebrows' and said, "They call him, a cool dude!" ....

...

...

         I...I was speechless. sans started snickering and Toriel started to giggled like a mad man. Frisk did a movement motion that she was laughing and clutching her stomach. Papyrus seemed happy to see them laughing and was patiently waiting for my response.

            I felt the rumble on my throat and couldn't hold it anymore. First I started snickering, then giggling and burst of laughter. Because of my laughter, everyone soon join. I almost fell out of my chair because I couldn't balance myself with all this laughter making me weak. Soon we all calmed down and Papyrus sat back down. There was a few giggles here and there and sans complemented his performance. Papyrus beam and responded to sans, "Of course sans! I am the great Papyrus after all! Nyeh heh heh!" I chuckled and put another piece of oreo pie in my mouth without half realizing it. But I enjoyed the flavour and gulped down some vanilla milk. 'This is too much sugar though.' I thought but shrugged it off.

      Papyrus felt accomplished when he saw me eating with a silly, goofy smile and went back to eating. Then the thought went to me when I saw Papyrus put a piece of oreo in his mouth, 'Where is that going? He doesn't have a digestive system...or do they? But skeletons are empty, maybe magic?' I shook my head and continue eating, enjoying the puns Toriel and sans said. Sans seemed confused on something but I shrugged it off. Papyrus seemed to enjoy their conversation too, and of course frisk who can't eat their slice cause of silent laughter.

        I swallowed the last piece of my slice and placed down the fork. I was reaching for my cup that has a little milk on it when suddenly when the front door slammed open and its hings broke so the door fell to the door with a huge, "THUD". "Where is she!? Jess!?" I stood up, "Ania?" I questioned. Ania ran in and stopped when she saw me. I was happy to see her but my smile faded when I saw blood on her clothes. Her hands was dripping blood. A piece of fresh skin was tangled on her hair. She was wearing black shorts and her ankles had scratches and some was flooding blood. She was sweating a lot and gasping of air.

      I stepped back, "A-Ania...why a-are you...?" Before I could finish, she ran to me and hugged me. Toriel stood up almared but was too late to stop her from hugging me. I stopped breathing, the smell of iron was filling my nose. Ania let me go and she looked happy. "Jess! I finally found you! Are you ok, are you hurt? Did they hurt you? Are you in some form of pain?" I placed my hands on her shoulder, avoiding the blood, to calm down her rambling. She stop and looked at me with now worried eyes.

        I took in a breath I regret,

      
         "Ania, what did you do?"

      She gave me a blank expression, "Don't worry Jess, I finished the small Skelton job."

I am so sorry that I took three weeks off. I felt tired and unmotivated. If it makes you happy, I'll upload at least 2 thousands words instead of 4 cause I'm not at that level of madness, hehe.

Welp! Gotta go, I want to day dream honestly. Bye bai!
