Chapter 12

"You want my help to kidnap the queen?" Spade asked with a strange look on her face. What would Rumplestiltskin want with that old cow?
"She's not a queen in my world." He stated simply. "In fact, do correct me of I'm wrong, but I believe that the boy has taken the throne." He said menacingly. Even if he wasn't right Spade doubted she would've wanted to correct him. She chose instead to question his motives.
"What do you want with her?" Spade asked. "I mean, for all you know you have the wrong Belle again. You made it sound like there were plenty of worlds she could've been dumped on." Rumplestiltskin cackled.
"Because, little girl, when she was sent here, your Queen was sent to my world." Spade's brow furrowed in confusion.
"You're telling me there was a mega twin switcheroo and no one noticed?" The man looked as if speaking to Spade bored him. "Time works differently in the different worlds. Though she left my world just last week, she had probably been here almost 50 years I'd expect." Spades jaw dropped. 50 years... she regained her composure.
"So why do you need her so badly?" Rumplestiltskin's expression softened for a moment before returning to normal.
"My intent is none of your concern. Will you take my offer or not?" Spade had always been good with matters of the heart (queue puns) and smiled as soon as she realized,
"You love her." She stated simply with a smile. Rumple angrily changed the subject.
"Belle for your birthright. Do we have a deal?"
Spade smiled slyly.
"I'll agree to your deal. But know this Rumplestiltskin, you'll never get her back. She's not yours in this world. She doesn't need you. Though, say you succeed. What then? I thought, of all people, you would know.
Villains don't know how to love."
