"Spade," Gil said in awe as the girl walked on to the ship.
"Hey." She said, walking past him. He scurried after her.
"Harry said if we see you here we should throw you overboard." He said matter-of-factly. Spade smirked to herself before pretending to look around the ship.
"I don't see him. And last I checked you were first mate. That means you're in charge when he's not here. You call the shots. Now tell me, Gil, do you want to throw me overboard?" She asked, confusing the poor boy.
"Uhhhh," he looked at her stupidly, then smiled.
"I am in charge! And I say you are my friend so you can come hang out," he said with finality. Spade smiled.
"Thanks, Gil. Now do you know where I could find Harry?" She asked with a sweet smile no one could resist.
"He's in the Captain's quarters." He answered.
"I'll talk to you later, okay? I have business to attend to with your captain." She said, walking off towards Harry's quarters. She snuck in slowly, seeing him sitting with his feet propped up on the desk. She smirked as she slammed the door, startling him.
"Hey, Cap." She said, announcing her presence, though it was already known. "How's life?" She asked he glared at her. She stared back blankly, her smirk dropping.
"Look, I know you're mad at me. I'm a terrible person. I get it. But, we're all terrible people. That's what we were raised to be. There's no changing us. You can't be mad at me for that. At least I had the decency to come say goodbye." Harry's expression softened.
"Goodbye?" He face hardened. "Let's say I care, what are you going to do?"She turned away from him and towards the door, her hand on the handle.
"You know, the usual. Breaking and entering, lying to officers of the law, assassination, harboring a fugitive, conspiring with the enemy, taking over a kingdom. Just thought someone should know where I went." She turned the knob and swung the door open only to be stopped by Harry's strong hand pushing it back.
"Whatever magic this is, it's too dark for you. I know you Spade. You would never do most of that. Now please, you can't do this. You're going to get yourself hurt." The sincerity in his eyes almost made Spade's confidence waver. Almost. Her glare hardened and she looked up at him.
"I've been waiting my entire life for this. This is all she ever wanted from me and it was the only thing I never gave her. I'm not letting you mess this up." Spade's eyes grew darker as she reached foreword into Harry's chest. Her fingers curled around his heart causing his eyes to grow wide and a startled expression to grace his normally over confident face.
"Stay away from me. This is between me, My mother, and Rumplestiltskin." She squeezes down on his beating heart, causing him to slide to the floor, on his knees. Spade tried to keep her expression blank as she watched the pained face of the boy she loved. She was doing this for him. She couldn't let him get caught up in the darkness she was about to step into. She just couldn't."Goodbye, Hook."
