"Hmmm, a confession... Wait WHAT?! Please say that again!" I asked this to my friend Glenn because I can't catch up to what he was saying. I must've heard it wrong!
"I said, please help me out Vaughn. I'm planning to confess to Gayle this lunch break, I can't afford to confess later because a lot of students are planning to confess to her. I asked you this because you're a friend of her, with you by my side I can have an advantage against others."
"Are you stupid or what? Confessing even though you've only known her for a week and she barely even know you. You're a complete stranger to her, and what do you mean by a lot of students are planning to confess?"
Yeah it's only been a week since she transferred here and a week passed since that afternoon. Impossible for people to fall for her in that short time span. All that people care about is looks huh?
"You don't know? She's currently famous to the male students here! Well anyways, please help me out." He was saying that while bowing his head, I've never seen him this desperate before.
Well it looks like I don't have a choice.
"Geez fine, I'll tell her you will be at the school rooftop, you're on your own after that."
"Really?! Thanks Vaughn, I owe you one." He was overjoyed when I said that.
"Well okay, see ya later. I'll go talk to her."
I left as I said that, I proceeded to look for her to tell her what happened. She'll be surprised when I say that to her. For sure. I reached the school cafeteria and saw Gayle and the others sitting in the far left side. They saw me and greeted me with a wave of their hands, and I waved back too. I sat down and with them and told her about Glenn.
"Hey guys."
"Hey, Vaughn. What's up?" Liz asked me.
"Can I talk with Gayle for a minute? It'll be fast."
"Okay. We'll go back to our classroom then. See ya later." Ziana said that and the two of them left.
Well they trusted me after what happened last week and we became friends. Gayle was right, they are good friends once they open up to me. Well anyways, I have something 'important' to do.
"Err. Gayle this might be weird for me to ask you, but."
"What is it Vaughn?" Gayle seemed puzzled by my sudden statement. Well I can't blame her because I asked this out of the blue.
"Uhh, my friend wants to talk to you about something. He's waiting right now by the rooftop. I know it's a bit sudden but, can you go talk to him? It's kinda important to him."
"Ohh, okay. If it's something important then I'll go. Let's go then."
"He said that just the two of you, so it'd be rude of me to go. Anyways thanks for hearing me out Gayle."
"Haha, don't mention it. It's what friends do right?"
"Yeah. Sorta."
I suddenly felt awkward when she said that.
"Well then, I'll be going now. It'd be rude if I make him wait long there right?" She chuckled a little when she said that.
"Haha yeah. Well then, see ya later."
"Yeah see ya later."
I walked back to the classroom after that, while she headed towards the rooftop. I'm kinda worried about Glenn though, well he's a good guy no need to worry. But what he said earlier about a lot of students will be planning to confess to her, it worries me a bit.
