The next day your at the park. You see Daehyun waiting there on the swings swinging back and forth like a physical lullaby. Your heart skips a beat and you slowly encounter him. He looks up at you and smiles a flawless grin, you can't help but smile back and blush.
DH: Hey! I wanted to tell you something important...
You: Ya sure!
You think that he might confess to you of his feelings...silly you, you're wrong.
DH: I've been thinking real hard and I don't think this is right...I've begun to like you which is a very dangerous thing towards you. Let's just stop here and not go farther, because I know you like me.
You stand there speechless your knees falter behind its support.
You: What...? I don't understand...why can't we be, why can't we love?
You blush slightly realizing that your words slipped out and you had confessed.
DH: I told you it's dangerous and you'll understand very soon why I can't be with you! I don't want you, [Y/N] I don't want to hurt myself or you. Ask your dad why I would be acting like this...maybe he'll own up to it and tell you why.
That was a lie. You know, but you don't say anything. You can't help but notice the sting that is pricking your heart. There goes something about your dad again? What did he do?
You're too hurt to say anything you stand there letting tears flow out of your eyes. You turn around to go but Daehyun grabs your wrist and spins you around into a hug.
DH: I'm really sorry...it's hard for me too...you'll understand.
You wriggle out of his grasp and walk away crying uncontrollably, silently.
