Chapter 13

I sprint out of the hospital at a fast pace. Tears flowing out of my eyes. Running will make me forget I think. Today is the day... The day I kill. The one I love so dearly...

I change into black...I get my weapon ready. My hands tremble and I breathe heavily trying to calm myself. I head back to the hospital, but I see [Y/N] come out instead. I cry...she's walking to her death. I follow her. She's looking for me.

Just turn around and stop me please, I silently plead. She turns around a bend, to a dead end and stops there crying uncontrollably. This time I feel three stabs... Guilt...Love...Sorrow

I stalk towards her when she lifts her head and calls out my name.

[Y/N]: ...Daehyunah?...Daehyunah...I understand why you would be acting like this, let me explain...

I stop and look up crazed and confused. How did she know? She knew all along? I stutter out.

DH: How...how did you know...? Let me explain why I'm doing this...just let me explain, [Y/N].

You: I know why your acting like this, but it doesn't have to turn out like this...

DH: Yes it does I have no choice... You don't understand, I have to obey his orders.

I slowly encounter her. She looks like terrified human, scared of a wild animal...me. Step by step I get closer. I want to let go of my force so I punch the wall next to her. A sharp zing of pain runs up my arm, aching.

She lifts up her hands to my face and cups my face into her hands. I don't deserve sympathy, I shake away.

DH: How can you do this to me? Now I can't get over this like I didn't know you...I could have done it...I could've...

You: ...but you didn't... You chose not too, you stopped...

I think of what's she just said to me...my love was so great for her that even my mother's death didn't faze me. I waited for her to finish her sentence.

Y/N]: ...because you love me, in a way that could break through anything... I'm unbreakable to you, I'm your cheesecake.

DH: I'm so sorry, [Y\N]... I will never hurt you again...I promise you... I love you.

That's when I let everything go. I reel her in and close the distance between our lips. I lock her lips with mine and match her movements also with mine. There in the rain I stood surrendered, giving up on everything. I didn't care anymore...I couldn't do it. I whispered a memorable thing. I love you...
