(IX) Superhero

Luke x Reader [Edited]

"HELP!!!"

You rush to the building you heard that scream come from. Today was supposed to be a fun, relaxing day but of course, saving people comes first. You were a superhero, helping people in the city of (Y/C).

As you get to the scene, you see a young girl, about the age of 8 struggling against the grasp of two villains, one your ex-sidekick/crush Luke and the most evil villain of all time, Kronos. 

You fell in love with Luke when you first met, about 7 years ago when you guys were 10 at superhero school. 2 years ago, he turned sides and worked alongside Kronos. And it broke your heart every time you had to encounter him.

As you approached, Luke pushed the girl away and she ran off to who knows where.

"How could you, Luke? Why did you do this? I loved you! What happened?"

"Y-You loved me?" 

"Oh shit I said that out loud. Forget I said anything and everything that has just happened about 10 seconds ago."

But then the unexpected happened. He walked over and hugged you. For a second you thought that he loved you back and that he'd come back to you. 

Key word THOUGHT. All of a sudden, you heard him whisper in your ear, "You thought I loved you? Well you thought WRONG." He said as he plunged a knife through your torso. You fell to the ground with a look of shock and horror written on your face as you felt you soul plunging into the Underworld.

Bonus scene:

"You did well, my apprentice. First thing you do of being a villain, you eliminate your weaknesses, including your loved ones" Kronos said as they walked off, Luke with tears running down his face and your blood on his hands.
