She shot up from her bed, panting in terror as she looked around her room. She heaved a sigh of relief, it was only a dream, a nightmare. She got up from her bed and did the necessary morning routine. Today was the day she and her mother were moving to Gravity Falls.

"SENPAIIIIII!!!! WE'LL BE LAATE!!!" I screamed while dragging my suitcases and plopped them into the back of my mom's car. I stood next to the car's door, tapping my foot impatiently while waiting for her to come out of the house. She finally came out and─kinda─slammed the door shut as I watched her quietly. A smile crept onto my face as I watched her effortlessly put her suitcases into the back of the car, then climbing into car, me following the same actions she had done.

I hopped into the passenger seat, next to my mom as she shut her door and pulled out her car keys. They jingled along with the new keys to our new house, and the UFO keychain. I gently shut the door, then strapped the seatbelt onto as I listened out for the "click!" sound, signalling that I was fully buckled in. I hummed in satisfaction as I cocked my head to look at my mom, who was now starting the car.

"Are you excited to see your friends again, hon?" she asked while turning her head to me, a smile on her face. She, too, was now fully buckled in just like me. I watched her press gently on the peddle as we started to slowly move off, then quickening the pace.

"Excited as I would've ever been, Senpai!" I cheerily squealed, earning myself a chuckle from my mom as she turned her head to face the road.

"Get some sleep, you know it's going to be a long ride," she stated as I nodded in response. I took out my phone and earphones from my pocket, plugging the cord of the earphones into my phone, and I picked out a song before placing the earphones into my ears. I gently closed my eyes as I slouched back onto my chair, drifting off into a dreamless sleep.

I watched my daughter close her eyes and fall asleep while listening to her music from the corner of my eyes. I smiled a bit, knowing that she was excited to see her old friends once again.

"How am I supposed to explain to her... That we'll be living in the middle of the woods...?" I mumbled under my breath, not expecting a reply. I bit on my lip gently and put my focus back on the road. My daughter's soft snores rang through my ears like soothing music, calming me down as I reached the city limit, passing by the "Now Leaving h/t" sign.

"Y/N, sweetheart, we've arrived at our destination..." I heard a familiar voice trail off as a gentle shaking could be felt at my shoulder. My eyes fluttered open, only to be greeted by the blinding rays of the sun, making me instinctively raise my hand up to block out the light. I straightened my back as I gave a quick stretch. I looked out the window to see a small two storied building with trees surrounding it. I turned my gaze to the the movers shifting our things from the truck and into the house. In a flash of light, my seatbelt was unbuckled and I was out of the car, fresh from the long needed sleep.

My mom had already been standing close to her door, waiting for me to shut the door, in order for her to lock the car. I did as she expected, and she locked the car, parking it in place. She directed herself to the back of the car, unlocking only that part and sliding our suitcases out. I grabbed my suitcases from the ground as she placed hers on the ground, then locked the car again, picking up the suitcases.
