||Chapter 5||

Previously, on Chapter 4;

"Wait... Oh my gosh I need to warn Dipper and Mabel about his return!" I exclaimed as I pushed the covers off myself, then hopping down onto the cool wooden ground, shivering at its cold touch.

↣Y/N's Pov↢

I quickly rushed for the bathroom, which was connected to my bedroom, then did all the bathroom necessities. (I hate describing that. It's just PURE BOREDOM!) In a couple of minutes' time, I was finished with it, then I locked my bedroom door and closed the blinds (WE'RE GOING FOR A RIIIDE! Get it?) just in case anyone was watching me. I quickly searched through my wardrobe on what I should wear for first greetings, and I settled on a f/c t-shirt, a pair of 2f/c (second fav colour) shorts [not the short short kind] and a maroon headband.

After changing, I opened up the blinds to allow the morning light to come in, and stood in front of the mirror to look at myself. I smiled as I picked out a f/c jacket without any hood with snowflakes and sparkles swarming around its back. I quickly slid it on as I unlocked my door and rushed down, the scent of pancakes filling the air surrounding me.

"Oh, you seem awfully excited today! Going to meet the Pines today?" My mom asked, placing a plate of pancakes down on the dining table as I walked over to the counter to get a plate and fork.

"Yes! And I have something important to talk to them about. I really miss them," I replied, setting the plate down on the dining table as I seated myself at the usual position where I would sit during my meals most of the time. My mom followed my actions shortly after, grabbing a bottle of maple syrup before sitting down the opposite of where I was sitting at.

↠And all the eating. So I'm just going to show their conversation(guess who says what)↞

"So, what was that something important you were talking about?"

"*stuffing face with pancakes* *swallows* well... Do you remember that Armageddon here 4 years ago...?"

"Yes I do, what about it? I hate that yellow triangle, excuse of a dorito."

"You should've said that to his face when you had the chance, woman. Well last night he came into my dream..."

"Wait he did? Did he harm you *checks for bruises* oh, no he didn't. What'd he say?"

"He said he wanted to make a deal with me, but I declined... Cause you know how he finds loopholes through every deal he makes. Oh, and he was with...someone."

"Ooh, who's this someone?"

"He's his older brother, and his name is Will. He's a cute lil blue dorito, I admit."

"Telling by how you described him, I'd love to meet this blue triangle!"

"I guess you would...soon. Anyway, I have to get going. Cya later!"

"Okay, cya later, hun!"

After thanking my mom for helping me wash my plate, I headed for the door, stuffing one hand inside my shorts' pocket and the other reaching out for the door knob. I twisted it dramatically as I felt my mother's eyes on my back.

Is she just trying to make her departure dramatic? I turned my head slightly to look at her. She had a face that said you're-making-this-dramatic-aren't-you? I nodded slightly and chuckled as I pushed the door open, then shut it without even turning around. Walking aimlessly in a random direction, I thought about whether they would remember me or not? We had lost contact a year after they left. I shook my head as I observed my surroundings. The signs that lead to the Mystery Shack were nowhere to be seen, and now I was thinking if I was gonna be lost.

"M-maybe you need h-help..?" a familiar, quivering voice spoke, causing me to turn on my heals to the direction where I had heard it, putting myself in my stance position. My eyes widened at what I saw.

"Will? Wha-"

"You-you need help g-getting to the M-Mystery shack, r-right?" he floated sightly closer to you as you relaxed your body, not even noticing it was tense in the first place.

"Yeah.. Could you..?"

"O-of course! D-don't tell my b-brother about this.." seconds later, the entire scene around me change as my gaze landed on the Mystery Shack. He must've teleported me here. I turned to thank him but he had disappeared, so I turned back to see Dipper at the porch on the couch with his nose stuck in a book. I chuckled and quietly approached him. He seemed too concentrated on the book that he didn't even notice my presence once I was standing in front of him, and I took it as an advantage.

↣Dipper's Pov↢

"HELLO DIPPER!" a familiar voice screamed into my face as I let out a girly shriek, then hit the "attacker" with my book in its face.

"Ow.... That's how you greet an old friend?" it asked as I lowered the book and observed who was now on the wooden plank of the porch. She had h/l [hair length], h/c hair, one of her eyes were closed, showing her other eye, which was e/c in colour. She was also wearing a f/c shirt, 2f/c shorts and ─ from what I could recognize ─ her signature jacket. She rubbed her cheek while letting out a hiss of pain. I widened my eyes in shock once I realised who had scared me.

"Y/N! Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed as I scrambled to help her up.

"Heh, it's okay Dip. I was ─ kinda ─ expecting a reaction like that from you," y/n replied as I pulled her up. She seemed to be slightly taller than me, so I shifted my gaze to her feet to see her wearing normal flats, and I flushed in embarrassment once I realised she had definitely overgrown me.

"Aww, little Dip is jelly that I'm taller than him now?" she joked, making my cheek burn brighter red.

"N-no! Anyway I'm going to go and get M-"

"I SENSE AN OLD FRIEND HAS COME TO SEE US!"
