Chapter 15
Harry POV
Why do Percy and Rosie keep saying that I bought them that candy. I didn't! At least I don't think I did.. Did I?
We are on our way back to my mum house and from the conner of my eye I can see a very pissed off Liberty. Her eyebrows are scrunch together. And her plump lips turn into a straight line. I try to focus on driving but I can't with this thick tension.
"Mommy,are you mad at me"Percy soft voice speaks. I hear Liberty sigh and leans her head against the window
"Yes, I'm just very disappointed in you and your sister" then a soft whimper comes out. I look through the rear mirror and I see Rosie lip tremble,tears falling down her face and Percy eyes watering trying to stay strong.
It breaks my heart just seeing them like that. I put my hand on Liberty leg giving it a light squeeze
"Don't you think you're being a little harsh on them Liberty?"
"Don't you think you should shut up and let me deal with my kids alone"she snapped. Ouch! What the hell did that come from. Oh is that right. I don't like seeing the kids like this. I rather have Liberty mad at me then on them.
"Hey! Their my kids to."
"Oh now you care you didn't care about them three years ago"she yelled. I hear Rosie whimpering louder.
"Seriously this again, damn it Lib! We been through this. And plus you're the one who kept it from me all these years" I couldn't help to yelled back
"Well you cheated on me with Taylor"
"Oh god I'm so sorry that I'm about to say this" I whisper
"Say what" she snapped
"LIBERTY SHUP THE HELL UP! OK YOURE MAKING A BIG DEAL OUT OF NOTHING. I BOUGHT THE DAMN CANDY I JUST FORGOT THAT I PAIED FOR IT!" I slam my hands on the steering wheel. I hope I didn't scare the kids. My poor babies
"Oh my god!" I gasp stopping the car in my mum drive way, holding my head in my hands. I felt small hands hugging me,automatically making me calm down.
"What daddy? Are you okay?"Rosie voice was soft yet loud
"What did you do mommy?! You mad daddy upset!" Percy voice became louder.
"Don't raise your voice at me Percy! I am your mother" Liberty voice boomed. But this time Percy couldn't hold it anymore and he bursted into tears.
"I remember now! When we lost you at the mall. I saw the twins looking at the candy store so I went inside and gave the cashier some money just in case Percy and Rosie went inside and wanted any goods" I lied straight through my teeth.
I see the kids giving me confused looks.
"What?"
"I'll explain more inside okay" I said and she nodded heading inside. Once she was all the way in I turn to the twins
"Daddy why did you lie"
"No, why did you lie, you know I didn't buy you any candy and I want you to tell me who bought you that candy now" I demanded
"Daddy" Rosie responded
"No, it wasn't me Rosie tell me the true"
"She not lying daddy it was daddy Matty he told us to keep it a secret"
"No it wasn't me I- wait what?!" Did he say Matty? I thought he was dead?
"No sweetheart he dead remember." I reminded them
"No he alive! His hair is really long and soft. And he wears black"
"Yes daddy we're not lying"Percy said
"How do you know it was him"
"The whistle" whistle??
"What did he tell you?" I pushed
"It's a secret" Rosie whispered
"Tell me please and I'll make mommy to say sorry and not be mad at you anymore" I answered. They look at each other for a couple seconds then nodded. I smiled
"He said that he loves us and that he's coming back" they replied at the same time. It sounded creepy.
He coming back. And I have a feeling that he not only coming back from the dead but also to take my kids and the love of my life.
