Travis woke up before Robin, which never happens. It was four in the morning and he had barely slept. He would fall asleep for maybe an hour then wake up again, this went on all night. Finally, he decided to get out of bed and go do something, anything really to get him to fall back asleep. He went to the kitchen and made some sleepy time tea, didn't help. Drank some warm milk, that didn't help either. He decided to go for a run, he grabbed his keys, put on some good shoes and left. He made sure to open and close the door as quietly as he could, he didn't want to wake Robin. He made sure he had both keys so he didn't have to buzz into the building and wake Robin. He locked up and once he got out of their building started to run. He was never able to sleep as a kid when he was focused on something else. He thought that that was probably happening to him know. But what was he so worried about? Cory. After running around the block he went back inside as quietly as he could and grabbed his phone, it was already five, Robin would be up in an hour and a half. He went on Twitter to see what that picture was. He wasn't following Robin because they didn't want anyone to know about their relationship, so he had to search for him. He got to Robins page and went to his liked posts. He saw they fan drawing of Oswald and Edward kissing. He then saw that it was also liked by @mister_CMS. He clicked on it to find Cory Michael Smith. Around six fifteen, after lots and lots of digging, he discovered that Cory played Edward, Oswald and Edward were not dating, and people shipped them anyway. He knew they weren't dating in real life, Robin wouldn't do that to him. but he was still worried. He heard movement coming from his and Robin's room. It was 6:15, he was up early, "Oh ya, press day." Travis thought to himself. He turned on the T.V. and started cooking up some eggs for their breakfast.

Cory woke up at six, he normally would get up around six thirty to be at the set by seven but because it was press day he gave himself some extra time to get ready. When he was playing Edward he had other people to do his hair and makeup and they spent normally half hour doing just that. On press days they had to do most of that themselves, but they would get some touch-ups from the artists when they all met at their trailers before their day would start. Cory was in such a rush to get ready that he didn't check the time until he showered, fixed his hair and was dressed.  It was six thirty and they were meeting at the trailers at seven. He didn't live far but he decided to leave anyway. He got there at quarter to seven. He stopped at Starbucks on the way to get an iced coffee. It was only him, Sean, Camren, Donal and Nathaniel. Others were arriving at a steady pace. Ben and Morena arrived shortly after Cory, then Erin, David, Jessica, Drew, and Chris. It was five to seven and they were all still waiting on Robin. Cory was going to text him but as he grabbed his phone he saw a car pull up. Robin jumped out of the passenger seat, leaned back in just for a second or two, then closed the door and started heading towards the rest of the cast. "Hey smartie." He said as he got to Cory who had started walking towards him. "Hey Birdie." He replied. They smiled at each other, there was a moment that could have been a hug, but they missed it. They walked back to the rest of the cast together. "Shit, am I the last one hear?" Robin asked Cory. "Ya, you slow poke" Cory replied shoving Robin playfully.

Once the cast was all together they loaded into their small bus. Cory and Robin got on first and sat together in the back, they talked and laughed the whole time. Everyone else was pretty quiet, so their laughter filled the bus. They would turn around to see what was so funny but no one had any idea. The first interview they did was with all of them together. When they arrived there was a couch in front and stools behind. Cory and Robin got into the room last, seeing as they were sitting in the back of the bus, so Robin sat on a stool at the back and Cory sat on the couch. The interview was fun, short and entertaining. After that, they separated to do some interviews with one two or three people. Cory and Robin got paired up. During their first interview, they were asked about the evolution of the characters, just like they are every single time. Cory answered first and Robin couldn't help but stare at him as he talked. He sounded so smart and well thought out. Robin always thought highly of Cory but he was really starting to notice things like that. The interview went very smoothly and just before it ended the interviewer asked if they could tease some of what's happening in the next season. They looked at each other and smirked a little, they knew that their characters would be teaming up and that Oswald would fall in love with Edward. Cory said, "Well generally there is going to be a lot of this, which is nice." and pointed to the two of them. Robin added, "Which is really fun.". They couldn't help but smile thinking about how the fans would react to this. Some fans were excited to see them working together, others shipped them, but there were some that were not looking forward to it. In particular, one watching the interview from his shared home with Robin.

Several interviews and a lunch later, the cast was done and ready to go home. Everyone went home except for Robin who was still waiting for Travis to come get him. Travis said he would come pick him up at four pm, it was now four thirty. Robin's phone beeped, he knew it wasn't Travis because he had different sounds for each person. It was Cory.

Cory: Hey, whats up?

Robin: Just waiting at the trailers, what about you?

Cory: You're still there? Why?

Robin: My ride isn't here yet.

Cory: Do you want me to come get you?

Robin: No it's okay, he should be here soon.

Cory: Too bad, I already left. See you soon!

Barely five minutes later Cory drove into the parking lot where Robin was waiting. Robin jumped in and said, "Thanks so much Cory, but you really didn't have to." Cory responded, "Of course I did, what are friends for?". "Okay, well thanks!" "You are very welcome.". Robin took this opportunity to scroll through the radio stations again until he found a song he liked. This time instead of a happy spice girls jam it was a slow yet super cute song. Robin started singing along, "Wherever we're standing, I won't take you for granted 'cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time, so I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you, I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you." He nudged Cory again and he took over for John Legend, "In the blink of an eye just a whisper of smoke you could lose everything the truth is you never know." The song continued and so did they, singing, smiling and swaying along to this corny, adorable duet. They got to Robin's and Cory, like the gentleman he is, walked him to the door. Not a good idea in hindsight. "James Cordon should hit us up so we can be on his show." Robin joked. "Obviously" Cory replied. "Thanks again for driving me home, I don't know what I would do without you." "Crash and burn.". "Goodbye" Robin said opening his arms up for a hug. Cory hugged him. Their hug wasn't long, but it was long enough. It was tender and warm, they felt safe. They let go and Cory said, "See you tomorrow!" as he headed back to his car and drove away. Once upstairs Robin nocked, Travis opened the door. "So did you forget to come get me or what?" Robin asked, a bit angrily but not too harsh, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Instead of answering Travis just asked, "Why did you hug him?". "What?". "Why did you hug Cory?". "Because we are friends, how do you even know who Cory is, you barely watch Gotham or care about what I do." as Robin responded he noticed more and more empties laying around. "Of course I know who he is, You think I don't know about you two?" Travis practically yelled. "What are you talking about?" Robin asked. "I saw your interviews today, and I've all the Smaylor posts, you're together aren't you." "No, we're not, I promise. I would never do that to you. I love you." "You sure." "Well honestly you're making me doubt myself now, you drink constantly no matter how much I ask you not to, you leave me at my trailer waiting for you to come get me, and you don't trust me. How can you love without trust? Do you even love me?" "I asked you first." "And I answered, I don't know, and can you please stop yelling, you're scaring me." Travis stepped to Robin, close enough so he could smell the too familiar smell of alcohol,  and yelled even louder, "You don't know if you love me? Well then me yelling isn't all you should be scared of!" Then as quick as lightning he felt a piercing pain between his eyes and on the top of his nose, then another jolt of pain in the back of his head, then the cold hard floor of his apartment. That was the last thing Robin could remember from that night.
